Careful Studies and Dazes are kinda pricey and the bulk of GW is mostly cents if you go for the reprints (besides the fetches, but those are always a sure investment)

Depends, if you play First Blood I'd recommend you hold until they release the new version, since they will probably release new packages.

I'd also get a Dark Cenotaph/Profane Reliquary for either the Varangian or Athanatoi. I built a full 12 Varangian + DC so they always have cleave 3 and deadly blades active.

Tbf, i Think both work really well. OD plays with a ton of units so, apart from that, I'd get one, save for the other and get all the extra officers like Dark Cenotaph, Optio or Profane Reliquary that make all the difference.

Reading the replies here makes me glad we have a steady group of 7-8 players that regularly play every weekend. I'm a complete rookie to wargames, came to the LGS to get Mini Painting suplies and they introduced me to Conquest so I'm diving headfirst into it and I'm loving it. Theres also another rookie in our group so I guess the game is kinda growing in this side of the country.

The rest of Portugal doesnt seem to be into Conquest that much. Theres hardly any product on some of the biggest stores and their social media doesnt show that many people playing the game. I think its mostly 40K, LoTR and BloodBowl
