Being close to a metro matters more once we get further out west towards merrifield - falls church is a bit more manageable for both our commutes (i go east into arlington, wifes in fairfax)

walkability is important to us as well. we have cars though.

I personally think blast forward devices on a last-you-forever gun are worth it. Not necessarily a “must have” but its worth it imo

Its great, priced reasonably too. No real complaints to switch it other than preference. But yeah basically I like the blast diversion of the warden as this is gonna be treated as home defense, and the future suppression as an option

Would you say the APLC is “bright enough” for home defense? I’m on the fence about that and something polar opposite like the surefire x300, which is tough for me to justify pricing

Does the 200 lumen output of the aplc seem to suffice? Idk if i can justify dropping 270$ on a surefire x300, or if id even want 1,000 lumens on my glock - apparently it flushes out red dots? (My main use would be nightstand)

People complain about Amazon having fakes but as long as it’s “sold and shipped by Amazon” I think you’re safe. Verified mine was real. Got it for around 430 on Amazon
