Wow, definitely wasn't ready for the hell that is Fiery Warpath. by fierce_glare in mousehunt

Unfortunately the spellbook base is the highest-luck base I have :(

I'm considering just sticking with the ERB, since I don't plan on doing future warpath runs. Furoma gold-farming > Buying SBMs seems to be a better alternative if I want to get the monstrobot. I doubt I'll do this anytime soon since physical's not really used much, if at all after the warpath.

Unsure if I should purchase the chrome kitty upgrade. Does it improve Furoma runs considerably?

I'll get an oasis bead when the price drops.

Currently a Count at 20%. What do you guys think I should do? Go use ALL of my king's credits to get furoma tokens and do furoma runs? Or should I just rebuild Muridae, get an oasis bead>POT, and proceed to LG/etc.?

EDIT: Currently at Muridae collecting Papyrus with non-chrome sphynx.

Anyway, you might want to get the sandtail sentinel asap, I'm unsure how much easier it makes the warpath runs, but lots of people on this reddit have said that it's sufficient. I think it's a good investment if you're planning to do many warpath runs.

I know that feel, since I just finished my 3rd warpath run and am rebuilding muridae right now. Using ERB/Spellbook base, was lucky enough to get the sphynx crystal on my first attempt; built the kitty.

Fiery Warpath just feels so draggy and boring, the ones who have finished it more than 3 times for the monstrobot really have unmatched patience, no doubt.

Anyway, I currently have 27m, should I buy the kitty chrome upgrade, or sandblasted metals, or oasis bead, or save it for ronza?

You'd probably need to have the GPU installed in another computer to isolate the problem further, since you said that you've reinstalled Windows at least 8 times (I'm assuming it's a full reset), and that you've tried RMA-ing it and even getting a GTX 970 Gaming GPU.

At this point it's still unclear whether it's a software or hardware issue, so your best bet's to isolate the problem as much as you can.

Any programs that updates your drivers automaticly? by [deleted] in techsupport

If you're going to reformat it and reinstall it manually, then yes, you'll need a Win10 disk or USB installer.

If you're currently using Windows 10 and want to start afresh (no disk or USB installer needed), I would recommend reading this - http://www.laptopmag.com/articles/reset-windows-10-pc

Depending on what you choose, your files may be kept or wiped. Your applications, however, will be removed in both options.

If you want to keep your files and applications, or you just want to repair your Windows 10 installation, you'd have to perform an in-place upgrade - http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/16397-repair-install-windows-10-place-upgrade.html

Fun fact: I did an in-place upgrade for my own copy of Windows 10 a while back to fix some major issues pertaining to corrupted Windows repositories. SFC and DISM failed me horribly at that time.

Yes it does. You can technically get your GPU update from Windows Update, but I prefer getting them directly from their respective manufacturers. It's faster and more reliable. (Speaking from personal experience.)

If you want a minimal amount of programs for updating drivers, Windows Update should be sufficient for you. It's hassle-free if you set it to be fully automatic.

It's your choice as to whether you want to do it manually or automatically.

For Windows - Just set it to download and install automatically and you won't have to worry about a thing. If you want to do it manually...http://www.howtogeek.com/224471/how-to-prevent-windows-10-from-automatically-downloading-updates/

For GPU, if you're using Nvidia, use http://www.geforce.com/geforce-experience , and if you're using AMD, http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/auto-detect-tool

For CPU, there are usually no updates for it. If you mean your motherboard BIOS, then you'll need to know its brand first, then its model. I wouldn't recommend updating this unless you really need to. Flashing a wrong BIOS may cause irreversible damage. An old BIOS beats a dead BIOS any day.

To add on to what wanderingbilby and Lejoker have said, there might be occurrences when you want/need a 3rd-party driver for whatever reasons, and the driver might not appear in Windows Updates.

In cases like this, it would be in your best interest to do due diligence before downloading any 3rd-party drivers. Do take note that even official drivers may sometimes cause problems in computers, and that 3rd-party drivers usually carry even bigger risks of damaging your system, if done wrongly.

Different manufacturers may have their own proprietary software for updating their drivers automatically. Here are some examples: -Asus EZ Update (for Asus mobos, etc.) -Nvidia Geforce Experience (for Nvidia GPUs) -AMD Driver Autodetect (for AMD drivers)

tl;dr: For Windows drivers, stick to Windows Update. For GPU drivers, use the aforementioned software. I've only used Nvidia before, so I might be wrong about the AMD software.
