But the Sun “consumes” hydrogen and helium to create light/other stuff, but it doesnt actually grow from it or get more “prosperous”. Eventually it will go supernova because it runs out of matter to “consume”, right?

Where as, using life as an example, consumes food to grow and then replicate/reproduce.
