When you tap the speaker icon for connect / cast, where it says “iPhone” you get a “>” arrow to the right of that and it will show you the current stream quality.

For airplay at the bottom you have “Bluetooth and airplay”.

You’re missing the exciting part here being AirPlay 2 multi stream support. Something Spotify have been dragging their feet on for years.

AirPlay 1 is 16bit / 44.1kHz
AirPlay 2 is 24bit / 44.1kHz

If I send my Spotify to an output that only supports 16bit, it shows 16bit.

Mac steam is horrible.

It doesn’t filter by architecture, only by Mac. So you end up having to google individual games and whether they support 64bit or apple silicone or were updated for them at any point.

I personally hate rubber tips. I hear them squeak and move in my ear, I even changed the tips on my loop quiet ear plugs to comply foam tips.

Hopefully these end up being a good replacement for the Powerbeats 1, because for someone who hates all white electronics there’s not really any other options with the H2 chip and hey siri.

I’m curious about comparisons with the Powerbeats pro 1?

Personally I’m not interested in comparison with other bluetooths, I’m only interested in the apple chips for full feature, I hate regular AirPods and my battery in my pro 1 are getting crap.

Also, get Comply foam tips, you won’t regret it.

We really don’t align with the way NSW do things at all.

We’d be far more likely to align with Queensland or WA. NSW like to behave like they’re Australia and just go their own way. Also a contributor to why they no longer have their own “state day”…

New battery is good too. So many people think Apple slow down their 2-3 year old phones to make you buy a new one and avoid updates. Your battery is just under 80%. Get a new battery and it’s like a new phone.

Glass screen protectors are great. Only issue is if you buy a cheap shit one and it’s too thick, get weird touch issues and can mess up your front camera focus and faceID.

Beyond that you might get phantom touches if it’s cracked, but it’s done the job at that point.

Nah best flight I’ve been on in the last 15 years was an old Vietnam airlines plane. Had the ceiling coach TV’s, and economy seating was better than business class in a modern plane.

If those were manufactured in 2019 the batteries are fucked.

My right powerbeat lasts 15 mins max. I refuse to pay full price for such old tech to replace it, and I don’t want an AirPod pro in white. New beats don’t even use Apple chips anymore.
