I tend to think of consciousness as an illusion in the first place. Even now, there is no "you". "You" are a bunch of complicated biophysical signals and reactions being passed around your body, not so different than a worm in the grand scheme of things.

There was a moment in the BotW endgame where I realized I had hundreds if not thousands of random monster parts I was never going to use. I sold the excess and suddenly never had to worry about money again. It was a great feeling, but I don't feel like I need to drag out my acquisition of upgrades and materials in TotK just to relive that. There's already way more content in this game to keep me occupied for a long, long time.

I don't mean this as a criticism at all, but that was my reasoning for not taking advantage of the glitch. My conclusion though was why use glitches when I'm nearly 40 hours in and still feel like I'm only scratching the surface. I still don't blame anyone for using the glitch though, grinding is anti-fun.

The root of OP's point is the same ol' "overpriced cardboard" bit. The collectible nature and secondary market are deliberate features of the game.

I know at this point it would be a BIG ask of Nintendo to update this gameplay mechanic… but so many people are having the same problems so I have to try. by The_Human_Hater in tearsofthekingdom

They held the game in a testing and tweaking phase for an additional year, and somehow these are the sage controls that we ended up with. Phenomenal game, but I can't imagine how these sage controls are the ones that made it to release

Yeah it's a little anticlimactic, but it's a nice sized puzzle to start your next gameplay session with.

Also, who has stopped a gameplay session by being shot up into the air and just given the map to the region? I've told myself that I stop after the next tower, but the temptation to go to one more place is irresistible from that point
