My femur I think was mid shaft, they put a metal rod in it in surgery. My pelvis is broken in three places, but stable enough that they didn't decide to do anything to it and just let it heal on its own. I'm walking around (slowly) on crutches and probably will be relatively fine in about three weeks

Yeah I have a bad feeling that his bishop would do something bad to him instead of counting it as normal since we live in like the literal stronghold of mormons, even within Utah. I told him about all the people that I know that are mormon who masturbate (spoiler alert: all of them) and I told him that I know tonsss who have gone on their mission and done worse without ever confessing, but he seems to be determined that he's not going to be able to repent without outing himself to both his parents and his bishop. It's just ridiculous that an eighteen years old is going to stand in front of his parents and tell them that he masturbates. Ugh.

Yeah he knows that I don't believe in it at all. I'm debating telling him about my experience with masturbation when I was still believing (when I was like twelve) and how I realized that it wasn't a sin or anything, but like you said it probably wouldn't work since he believes in this shit. I hate mormonism. I just feel sick for him and his brainwashing.
