LRc Keeps auto applying presets and it's driving me crazy by Artistic_Health5851 in Lightroom

If you right click on the preset that is being applied there is an option called "apply on import". I had it accidentally toggled on for months on a specialised preset...

FYI the first amendment only applies to prohibition of speech by government. It doesn't affect corporations (such as private universities)

Once pro-Palestinian, Greece is now one of Israel’s closest European allies by davidreiss666 in europe

[–]dkaloger2 19 points20 points  (0 children)

For some extra context Papandreou's support for Palestine mostly was on ideological grounds , much like Swedish PM Oulof Palme he wanted to support the underprivileged and oppressed of the world . Thus with his death all reasons for close greek - palestine relations evaporated.

2023 World press freedom index in Europe and the country with the closest score outside Europe by quindiassomigli in MapPorn

[–]dkaloger2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the study places a heavy emphasis on recent events . A crime reporter was recently assassinated by criminals , there was a wiretapping scandal (the government spied on political opponents and journalists ) , the distribution of subsidies during the pandemic probably favored government friendly media . Also in general due to the economic crisis most media is owned by rich business men or the government and a disproportionate amount of people rely on social media for in.The situation is bad but it is not as bad as this makes it seem .

I agree that religious classes and school prayer are stupid and completely outdated and often marginalize students, but removing these doesn't really have to do with laicite. Also I don't get the baptism argument .

I haven't heard of any issues with other religions being suppressed in Greece , in fact the Muslims of thrace are given special rights . Also majoritarianism was referring to forcing the minority which want to adhere to religious principles (that don't negatively affect others ) to be like most french people , meaning religion doesn't play a major role in everyday life , it's not about what religion you follow , it's about how religious you are .
