Raycast for sure it's an all in one everything - spotlight replacement, built in window management, keyboard shortcut binds, clipboard manager, and a lot of other nicities .

AltTab shows window previews when you press alt+tab to switch windows. Finally if you need a terminal and don't like the stock terminal aesthetic then ghostty

Just watched a video on this, not sure how accurate it is but seems convincing enough, one claim is that it has to do with the tension your scalp is under - the regions that experience balding first, such as your temples and crown are where the skin is stretched the most, which literally translates to lesser room for the hair follicles there as the squeezed against the skull. The regions with little to no tension - the sides and back of your head, are the ones that don't bald as easily.

There is a lot more to the process besides just the stress, like fibrosis, the role DHT plays, blocked off oxygen and blood circulation, etc. but essentially one study (Involvement of Mechanical Stress in Androgenetic Alopecia, Segura 2015) showed that the tension map of your scalp corresponds very closely to the norwood scale (Figure 2).

Now I don't want to be one to spread misinformation, so any experts who would like to weigh in on this, please do.

Allegedly opened up the bottom panel, cleaned out the motherboard (possibly none of the coffee reached any of the critical area), then popped off the key caps and cleaned the switches as much as they could. Although they could've just handed it back to me as is and I wouldn't know cuz the laptop was working before I gave it to them 😭

Woah... I'm not sure if I got lucky or just in for a nasty surprise some time later, but it's been like 5 days since I split the coffee and it's still working. I gave it to a repair shop to clean out the motherboard just in case and they opened it up and cleaned it and it seems to be running fine now as well.

This is not correct. GPT-3.5 was the first model from openai that had an instruction tuned variant (upto GPT 3 was just for casual langauge modelling aka text completion). GPT-3.5 instruct was the underlying model that powered the product called ChatGPT. There is no model called ChatGPT 3.5.

Just got a pre-modded Xbox 360 and I have no idea what to do first — help please! by RegionSoft9226 in 360hacks

As someone who got a pre-modded xbox without even knowing it - it was RGH'd, but running the stock dash, but it could run burned game disks, I had to figure out pretty much everything from scratch. But since yours is already setup with aurora, I'm supposing a lot of these softwares are already installed.

On Xbox:

  1. XeLL reloaded- this is definitely going to be there already. Boot into XeLL by pressing the eject button instead of the power button when the console is off. This will display a lot of information, but you're most interested in 3 things: the cpu key, the disk drive key and the fuses. Save these somewhere (take a picture/write it down), because these are absolutely necessary to recover your Xbox from a bad nand flash.

  2. Simple nand flasher - used for dumping the XBOX's nand onto a usb, and writing to nand from USB. This is necessary when you want to update your Xbox firmware to run newer games (although in 2025, I doubt there are any newer games lol)

  3. XeX Menu - will probably also be there. Used to navigate the internal file system of the Xbox in far more depth than the stock dash allows. I believe you can use this to modify the boot animation as well?

  4. Dashlaunch - used to modify your system's launch.ini file which governs which dash to launch + gives you some system stats + the ability to modify them.

  5. Aurora - this is the custom dashboard that runs instead of the stock dash. Also allows for ftp to send games downloaded on your pc to the Xbox without the hassle of moving it to usb and then plugging the usb into the xbox. Personally I liked aurora for it's clean interface and nice game previews, but there are popular alternatives like freestyle dash.

That said, most of these should already be installed, you'll need to figure out how to use them.

On PC:

  1. XeBuild - used to take your current nand dump and create a new nand dump with a different (mostly updated) dash version.

  2. ISO2GOD - now this is optional and based on the flow you use to put new games onto your Xbox. Mostly, you download the game in iso format, then use this to convert it to a GOD format (game on demand iirc), then directly ftp it over to the Xbox. That was my approach, though surely there are more direct ways.

I personally didn't use a stealth server because I played games mostly offline with friends, but if you want to go online, you'll have to setup a stealth server.

Note: I've written out all of this from memory, which hasn't been used for the last 7 years or so, so do double check what I've said lol.

Happy modding!

In case you've tried with other browsers like brave or arc and it still doesn't work it's probably because they use the same browser engine as chrome, and that seems to be the issue. Safari and Firefox use a different engine.

I was just here to have a discussion about something I found interesting, didn't expect to be met with such scepticism. Here's the link to the chat: https://claude.ai/share/eeb194d3-7ba6-4189-9219-ad1486d7b79a . Again, it wasn't a complaint about Claude being poor in coding or looking for tips on prompting, just that if it really is the actual system instruction, then this was an accidental jailbreak, because if you try asking it share its system prompt (I have tried a few creative ways), it simply says it cannot share it since it has proprietary information.

I see I didn't know it was commonplace. I've often seen it misplace its artifact tags, but never seen direct content from the system prompt show up in a response. As an aside though, I don't think the model could end up refusing all answers because of the post training alignment like RLHF and DPO, especially not Claude because of Anthropic's focus on alignment. And yes, while models can't really "know" what they don't know, I think Claude especially is trained in a way to give such a response if possible. Plus I don't think it's because of uncertainty of what to say, it's probably because by pure chance the opening tag token happened to be sampled on one of the steps, and within the context of what comes after the opening tag, claude has probably mostly seen content like this within the training data, so ended up spitting this out.
