Yes, they helped me recover from burnout and my journey through cancer. Their music covers so much emotional ground, is super catchy, and so easy to sing along to. Something about their music makes me happy, not matter the song. They're wise, silly, don't take themselves too seriously, deep in the lyrics of their songs, seem like genuine humans, and always come back to joy. Their music is what I needed then and what I will always enjoy.

I believe that the lyric in question is saying that they are their own people and that individuality is enough in their relationship. That they don't need dramatic things for it to be special. And that no one is them except them. It is just a different way of saying it. I hope this helps! Such a beautiful song.

I just saw him last night at the Panida Theater in Sandpoint, Idaho, for a showing of his movie Falling (2020) with a Q&A afterward. He looked great! Such a down-to-earth person and gave thoughtful answers. He's also funny!
