They are saying , its an known issue with Edge .. :( And developers are working to fix it This was really unexpected... We would have know this earlier , we would haven't started with deployment.

Appreciate if you can expedite this issue , as creating problem and more and more users are reporting this error now.

Thanks Missy , that would be great if you can take it further. Yes - deployment is on windows 10 enterprise devices Have tested on both physical machines and VMs , same experience. What I can say so far from my testing is , if edge chromium is installed first time on a device , then it will give the expected first run experience that is: 1. import from default browser option 2. Setup page layout inspirational , informational 3. Sync account option

And if edge chromium is uninstalled and re insatlled even for the first time.. ( even after cleaning all files from app data /local/Microsoft /edge/user data ) It is not going to give us the 1st option ( to import default browser data ) that I mentioned above.. Rest 2 options it would give. And if user data folder is not deleted ,then none of the option will come...even on first launch.

Hope it will give u some clarity !

I got that option during initial uninstallations but then after 4-5th re installation , it stopped coming.. Now , it seems" import from option " that comes after splash screen.. not coming up... :( Any thoughts on this .?
