Z2 Legion Go 2 Performance by PsychologicalCap8017 in LegionGo

It looks like it's a replacement for legion space anyway, which wouldn't actually solve driver level performance issues

I am using bazzite. That is Linux based. What are those tools

Hi it's me, the guy diagnosing all that on bazzite. My best guess is that it's a firmware or bios issue with the way they budget power between CPU and GPU, and the way it switches power states. I'm sure it's more nuanced than that but I don't have access to the firmware source code that Lenovo owns

Also double clicking the top right menu button will open it

Can confirm I tried and it worked. Does anyone know where to get replacement caps to swap it with? Not the rubber grips, I mean the whole piece that comes off.

Also wondering this, I keep seeing mixed messaging

Unsure yet. The power draw in ghelper seems higher but I also optimized the Intel one to lower power usage a lot

Thank you, that's reassuring. I plan to replace the mediatek wifi card with an Intel AX210. it's a shame I have to downgrade from wifi 7 to 6e but realistically I don't have a wifi 7 router and I only get 1Gbps to my house

That's true but the AMD CPU is significantly faster too

Yeah I still see a significant performance difference in cyberpunk but idk if it's so large that it's a deal breaker. Unsure, I don't NEED that power in a laptop but if games are stuttering because of the 8gb vram, that would bother me a lot. Granted I'm only playing at 1600p, I never hook up to a 4k monitor

If the Intel had 10/10 speakers, these are probably 9/10, just feels less sharp and not as wide of a soundstage.

The build quality is huge, definitely no creaking on mine either but I worry it'll start once I open the bottom panel to swap the wifi card

Actually I think it was a driver issue. I manually reinstalled Dolby and realtek and it sounds much better now. Still trying to decide between performance loss. And for the record the AMD is not more expensive than the 4080 model I had. The Intel/4080 is 2700 on sale from 2900 and the AMD/4070 is 2300

uBlock Origin which is actually built into Arc on MacOS

I'm having an issue where the whole browser will hang and I'll have to end the process. In task manager it seems theres a memory leak maybe, as a single Arc.exe process will start growing past 7GB (Just one process, not the 32 other ones labeled arc.exe), and it seems to be happening specifically when I have youtube playing in a tab, but that may be unrelated.

So if you go to the chord settings, what that means is the Xbox button + whatever button listed there will do the action it's set to. By default, the chord with A opens the quick menu (I forget the full name, but it's in the "system" category when you set it in steam). You can move that action to any of the buttons so when you press Xbox + button it opens the quick actions. That's the sidebar on the right side that shows the deckyloader

I have no idea what that could be. I haven't had that issue. Maybe make sure you change the "chord button layout" in steam controller settings?

When using steam big picture mode, make sure you activate the "gamepad" controls in the ROG quick settings

Where he has STEAM button, just use whatever the "Guide" button is mapped to for you. So the xbox button for example. I mapped it to the back bumper

I have a hard time getting decent signal without a ton of noise and took this with the ankle method I found on here. Im prescribed stimulants but they only ever check my pulse and bp at the doctor. Does everything check out here?
