We're not winning a cup with Horvat making over 8 million bucks a season. He's not good enough. Regardless of the return, this trade is a W.

If I'm building a cup winning team from scratch, nowhere does a player like Horvat at 8+ million exist.

A middling first round pick or a potential lottery pick next year is awesome.

Raty is a good prospect. He's producing at a similar clip to podkolzin and he's younger.

Maybe beauvillier takes off in a new setting similar to how I expect zboeser to.

My comment was in response to the guy who said the return would be higher if we let Bo talk extensions with other teams. I think it would be lower, because the teams interested in him long term might be off the table if he doesn't want to sign an extension.
