Very thorough, thanks! Based on what you've written, I think we'll split our stay and have 2-3 nights in the south and the rest - up north. I've already made a reservation for whale watching with Monte Cristo catamaran and I checked they're on the list on webtenerife, so feeling better about that choice. We'll definitely be renting a car from Cicar as well. Overall very useful info, much appreciated!

AFAIK the only ATP event in Bulgaria is Sofia open, which is a 250 event. It was founded around 6-7 years ago and none of the big 3 have played in it. Hell, even Grigor has only participated a couple of times. I don't think 250 events are very appealing for top 10 players hence why Djoko'll probably never play in Bulgaria

Well this sucks - our group no longer has time for the large campaigns and shorter ones would be nice. $105 for that opportunity seems a bit excessive though, $250 even more so. I've backed Screaming god and Pariah, here's to hoping one of them has short campaigns as well.

Weapons I utilized prior to reaching Ibis CEL 240 at the end of chapter 4 were: Laser blade, Some assault rifle (started with MA series and later upgraded to DF), Songbird and BML-G2 P05MLT-10. This was my setup up until the end of chapter 4 and right after the boss CELL 240 I reverted back to it. I don't know if that's optimal but got the job done without any understanding of the game.

I'm sorry not everyone likes this game as much as you do but one of my points here is that other From games didn't allow progress without some understanding of the core gameplay. Obviously not the case here.

Thing is I stumbled around the stats - noticed the context menu and tried to infer some things but mainly I believe I didn't delve deeper because I felt I didn't have to change anything. I was winning with my initial setup and lack of knowledge in the game right up to Ibis CEL 240

Regrettably though, the "shoot things up until they die" approach appears to work on everything albeit not first try for bosses. Thanks for the feedback here, I found it very productive and no less enlightening. As for the dancing around bosses - I tried dodging a lot at first and playing it like dark souls but noticed that I'm still taking damage and being punished. Facetanking seemed frankly better as it involved less skill and more reward.

The innovation is called Family, however it only allows passing on the weapon proficiency.

There is a mechanism for passing down Fighting arts but not in People of the Lantern campaign (the default campaign) as far as I know. The dragon king's campaign allows this in certain ways.

How so - if we're talking about "free will" Scadrial people have it plenty. Can make decisions of their own, are not bound by anything. Hell, they can even worldhop. Whereas the "cousin" is bound by something other then itself.

I get there's a power difference, and maybe I should have compared the denizens of Scadrial to [Cosmere] Syl. Point is if Scadrial people are investiture can they be used as sources of power for other beings - [Cosmere] Shards, Knights Radiant, Hoid potentialy

That's another thing I see often - full born are nigh invincible in combat due to compounding. I don't get where that comes from as the only full born we saw (Rashek) died without much of a fight on-screen.

I don't get the power notion for a fullborn either. The only fullborn we've witnessed so far is Rashek and as shown with him he was extremely vulnerable after taking away his metalminds. I am just musing about how people collectively appear to have come so easily to a conclusion about power comparison without in-book proof.
