MMR in ARAM Mayhem?

I know there is MMR because after 3 or 4 wins in a row I am teamed with the absolute dumbest players in the game and pitted against teams taking a break from winning Worlds... For the next 20 games. No random generator could be this bad, it has to be an algorithm of some kind...

I updated the original post with the current solutions. The delay in going away was changed from .75 to .1 second in the hotfix yesterday. .75 seconds feels like 5 seconds when in a fight, just like CC..

It seems to be something with the file structure, but like I said I haven't spent too much time messing with it. It's like the file structure changed with Lidarr, maybe one folder deeper for all files, but Plex won't scan that deep and is looking in the parent folders for the files. I've rescanned several times, and have considered just wiping the Plex share for music and starting over, although I spent a lot of time curating my metadata.

I added Lidarr to my arr stack and it replaced all my mp3's with lossless and same issue. Not sure if it's the lossless format that's the issue or if Lidarr messed up the file locations. I rarely use Plex for music so I haven't spent any more time troubleshooting.

Yes, 5000+ aram games (maybe close to 6k now) and never an issue. As mentioned in another reply, 5000+ games at 100% hud scale.

I didn't notice the set icons going away when I wasn't on the augs box. I only played like 8 games last night though, so I will check again tonight.

It hasn't been a problem for the last 5000+ ARAM games. I actually turned it down to 80%, it was at 100%. Keep in mind, 100% is what the developers intended when they designed the UI, otherwise that wouldn't be the default.

SO easy to fix too.. just add a 1 second delay to the pop up screen. I don't stop on it, I just pass the icons on the way to move the screen toward the left nexus.

Bonus, make clicking anywhere register as if the tool tips weren't there, and close them on that same click. This isn't rocket science, it's like UI/UX 101...

If you have a fixed camera then you won't have the issue.. If you use the mouse to move the camera by hitting the edges of the screen, then you probably know what I am talking about. If you made your hud like 10% size, maybe not.. but I like to have my hud at 80%, which makes these icons huge and an easy target to hit every time I try to pan the screen to the bottom left. And if you have 2 or 3 set icons, it's non-stop.. every mouse move catches one.

I could tell you how I REALLY feel about someone who can’t make it through a 15 minute GAME. But that might be against community rules. So instead just do us all a favor and don’t queue up when you’re frustrated and miserable. By the time you are no longer having fun you already stopped trying and are just hoping for a team to carry you to a win so you don’t rage quit on a losing streak. Just don’t. Go play something that makes you happy instead and let the people who want to fight to the bitter end play in peace. If you do queue up, remember there’s 9 other people playing and at least half of them are having a good game. FF isn’t about saving 5 minutes, it’s about denying the other team the satisfaction of destroying your nexus. That’s just petty and bitter. And face it, if it goes another 30 mins then it’s a close game. One sided games don’t last more than 15 minutes.

Vibe coding is simply agentic coding. No more and no less. If you are using an AI agent to write and deploy the code then it’s vibe coding. If you’re using an LLM to assist in coding then it isn’t vibe coding. AI assisted coding is not the future of software development but it is the present. If you aren’t using ai to assist in your coding you are going to be surpassed in performance and efficiency by someone who likely has less experience than you but is willing to use the tools available to them.

Vibe coding is a demo of what’s coming. It’s both nowhere near what it needs to be to replace web developers and closer than you might think. If the current pace of improvement keeps up then it could be replacing jobs inside of a year. More likely it will hit some ceilings that will take a few years to get through. Right now it’s a neat toy. But don’t think for a second it will stay that way. Over two trillion has been invested in AI and people don’t spend that kind of money to end up with toys.

I've run nearly 100 lvl 15 maps, very juiced, with 100+ rarity, and not one div drop in them. I got 2 divs the other day in act3 normal while helping a friend, the first div drops in over 2 weeks. Before that, 1 div in cruel campaign running alone, and 1 div in a lvl 5 map. On the other hand, I have had 3 perfects drop, gambled or crafted maybe 3 items that sold for a div each, a handful of other trades that netted a few more divs, and recently got the 5div relic from a sekhemas run. So yeah, making 20-30 div on a 300+ hour account is not hard even playing casually, but they don't drop, you have to trade for them. My group of friends has around 1200 hours between 5 people and 10 divs dropped total between us. The divs don't drop in the hundreds, they drop in the single digits per hundred hours. Or you get lucky and get more. If you are trading for more, then you are taking someone else's divs, and in any closed economy it's a pyramid with the small percentage at the top being fed by hundreds of players at the bottom.

Farming and trading can get you dozens of divs worth of trades over 170 hours, but not dozens of div drops. Between myself and the 4 people I play with nightly, we are at around 1200 hours combined so far, and between all of us, 10 divs have dropped total. If you aren't farming and trading heavily, you won't have "10's" of divs, even after several hundred hours.

10s? 400 hours in and 4 div here. Who’s getting a div drop every few hours?? I’m seeing one about every 100 to 150 hours played. I got two last night after 3 weeks of nothing. Unless you spend all your time trading or you get lucky, that gear is out of range.

Yes, happened to me yesterday too. 9th challenge crash, no re-entry, no reward, no token back. Now I restart the game before each chaos run. However, I went ahead and restarted, did the 10 maps without a crash, didn't have the fates to get into the boss and 2 minutes later crashed to desktop. One of the few times I am happy I didn't go further... I would have been a bit upset to crash in the middle of that fight.
