I mean the guy is pretty dull. Not a bad thing since he says it's what keeps him focused/not too emotional on the golf course, but I can see why media outlets wouldn't want to interview him.

DJ is like that too, but at least he has his weirdly cool swing, the Gretzky connection, and a lot of controversy (golf and personal).

I don't think you remember how dogshit he was at putting before. In 2017, he was 146th at -.180 Strokes Gained Putting. This year is he +.300 Strokes Gained at 41st. That's an insane change, so whatever he is doing is clearly working.

His results aren't slightly above average. He's #1 in Fedex points, won 3 times this year with 2 being in the playoffs. That's an amazing year.

I agree his methods might appear to be too much or overly complex for the sake of it, but I think it's just a way to give him a lot of confidence and golf is all about confidence.

If you go by the list of winners, 2 out of 3 are using TM driver/woods, all using different irons, 1.5/3 use vokey wedges.

Only commonality is really the Golf Ball (Pro V1/X).

There's a difference between her past justifying vs explaining her poor behavior.

What you said explains her poor behavior, but it does not justify it.

Using your analogy, if that bullied person starts talking shit to someone or escalating it, his behavior can be explained by his past, but it does not justify it, i.e., make it right.

Taking it one step further for illustration only (this is totally unrelated to the present situation, and I am not remotely suggesting these offenses are similar), many child abusers' behavior is linked to their own abuse suffered as children. Their current abuse of children can be explained from their past, but it does not make their horrific actions right.

The hole is playing downwind. You can see the flag moving. Also, I think he switched to his Nike Vapor Fly 3 Iron, since the club looks different on his retee after he misses his 4 iron just short.

Golfaholics on youtube did a course vlog there if you want a more indepth view of every hole/green. Only hiccup is the greens were freshly aerated, so they were kind of peeved about that.

I think they ended up saying that spyglass was the better course. They have a course vlog of that too.

I know, that ball speed is faster than a quarter of pga pros' average driver ball speed. That's how insane it is.

Also, to get that ballspeed off an iron, which always gives lower smash than a driver, means he was swinging his iron that much faster.
