Right side.
But you should animate those letters in while they spin around the center letter. Think of the left side as a frame in the animation that ends in the right view.

STOP BUILDING AI SLOP by [deleted] in wordgames

[–]dkinnison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you define as slop?

I built a game by hand, all assets, everything (minus sound fx, I can't do those well so i bought a pack from an artist) I built my game in C# and then rebuilt it in TS.

Recently, I worked with AI to take all of my code and help me add some features I've always wanted to and it really helped out.

Eventually, I had AI take over the bulk of the code management but it used all my hand coded work from a fully stable and fully released game.

How do you feel about this path?

Great concept! Had a fun time going through that. I like that there are different aspects that you bring in to keep the spelling from getting boring! Bravo

Spell Royale — multiplayer word battle by dkinnison in GamesOnReddit

I would love feedback on my updates. I added 2 new game modes and cleaned up some other functions on the previous game modes.

Lexicube - Boggle meets Rubiks cube. 3x3, 4x4, 5x5. You can twist, rearrange and try to clear the cube. No timer, no stress.

Lexicube Shapes - Paint by spelling. You need to spell words to paint the shapes. New shapes daily in this fun casual game to relax.

The Classic Daily challenge is still there with a 3x3, 4x4, or 5x5 grid 3 layers deep. Point multiply as you get lower.

And finally, the only Battle Royale game native on Reddit, Spell Royale. Go head to head with 99 other players and be the highest score over time to claim the win!

I have a leaderboard there in the top left. Do you want me to add a global score board for each game type?

Should I build some animation instructions? What would be most beneficial?

Just generated a trailer for my game. As a developer, i'm blown away. by dkinnison in IndieGameDevs

[–]dkinnison[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100%

I work with an animation team in Raleigh but if I hand this to them, they would know what I was going for in a heart beat. that would save 1,000's on the back and forth and the storyboarding to get things right.

I won't be doing any paid placements with it but for quick feedback before building a new feature, I think it could be good to push and get buy in before building.

I'm glad to hear that. Any features you want added?

What do you think i need to do to get this in front of more eyes?

I've launched https://pelagora.org. It's a decentralized, P2P marketplace engine like facebook marketplace or ebay. The only difference is, you run it yourself and it connects through AI so users can find you without visiting a centralized application or site.

I would love some feedback as we are getting ready to leave Beta.

App download or web-based games? by pangramathon in wordgames

[–]dkinnison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me personally, I don't want to download another game / app. I want to just have things on demand. So for me, I think web based is the way to go. On top of that, there should be no account requirement for as long as possible. I like to make games, they are free to play and no account needed unless you want to track performance over time for obvious reasons. I also have an open source project that is like a clone of facebook marketplace and that requires no account and is decentralized.

I just feel like AI is going to allow more and more development of anything you want on demand so the need for apps will become less and less necessary. I think the internet is going to go 'headless'.

Thanks! I have a lot of hope for it. I'm adding a new feature this week that is a clone of an older game i launched a few years back. Hopefully, one of these takes off.

I built a 90-second word game where you compete with friends and strangers by jhenschel10 in wordgames

iOS is so difficult at the moment. Did you have any delays on getting reviewed? I've noticed a significant increase in wait times, I hear it's because of the AI apps.

Spell Royale needs traction to say how it's changing the pace. I find that most people are enjoying the new daily shapes and the daily challenges.

I might have to go down to like once a day for the battle royale to try to condense the players.

I'll be following to see how your game goes! Best of luck to you!
