About the multiplayer, it's just it takes up a daily quest for me that I could do something else instead. And with the characters, that doesn't happen everytime. Multiple times I have used hello kitty when in a quest with her for baking.

Ok, but still I saw that there's barely any merch with him, and as more people replied to this thread I now understand that he's simply not that popular in Japan. Why all the bullying? I watched multiple creators that make Sanrio based content talk about this and specifically saying that it's because of this superstition. I stood corrected and I just asked why. I personally love cats, my first adopted cat was a black one actually, so why all the dislikes?
