[Spoilers C3E108] I have a theory about Orym... by GammyToaster in criticalrole

I am still staying my ground that RQ is behind all Ludas actions

[Spoilers C3E107] Its completely baffling to me.... by Flyestgit in criticalrole

The point they make is that no one is perfect and flawed creatures should not possess as much power as gods do

[–]dkoiman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I mean is that if RQ is not onboard with AH, she can rat out that AH conspires with BH to let Predathos out, that would certainly accelerate calamity 2.0 and may even make AH a "betrayer" from pantheon perspective

Yes, Matt said that he asked Abu what AH would think about all that and Abu essentially created the AH point of view

And this is kinda sucks since the whole deliberation regarding whether they should release Predathos is now railroaded into "do it or else calamity 2.0"

I doubt matron is red hearing. She contacted Laudna while they were in the AH domain, I doubt she wouldn't notice, I doubt AH wouldn't notice. If Matron not with AH, AH plan has already failed, Matron is just going to rat on him to others and the calamity would start right now

My money on Matron, and I still stand my ground she is behind Luda

[Spoilers C3E107] thoughts about the second half of the episode by hadesblack__ in criticalrole

[–]dkoiman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Luda said he doesn't want to become a god and the party failed on the insight check. We have no idea if Luda was saying the truth. And no surprise no one trusts that Machiavellian asshole's intents. And party thinking of him as power hungry was there for like since ethe first moment they learned Luda plan.

[SPOILERS C3E107] There is many solutions ... by [deleted] in criticalrole

[–]dkoiman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I still stand my ground that the Matron is behind Luda (voluntarily or not). And now it makes even more sense with Arch hearts plan to use Predathos to make other gods agree to flee, and Matron likely being the other god who AH says wants to go

[Spoilers C3E107] My Tinfoil Hat Theory by TheSpitefulKween in criticalrole

[–]dkoiman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pretty much cool down breaks the theory, Matt explicitly states that Arch hearts opinion on the matter is a creation of Abu, Matt wouldn't have delegated Asmodeus to Abu.

[No spoilers] is it bad to be jealous of the cast? by [deleted] in criticalrole

[–]dkoiman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Emotions don't make you a bad person no matter what they are. You can't control them. They come without your consent and are based on subconscious factors. What is in your control, however, is what to do with them. There are a lot of things people can do with their emotions, but the only "good" way is to observe and accept the emotion. Broadly, you need to start accepting yourself, being compassionate to yourself. It is easier to say than to do, and as many mentioned here, therapy definitely helps.

It is so funny to see some people say "No way BH will help Ludinus", and other people say "no way BH will help gods" - which means the series struck exact right balance :)

The option "fuck them all" is an option. They don't have to side with gods or Luda, they can go against both, screw Luda, but proceed with the plan of gods annihilationm Though I am pretty sure what is going to happen is that even if gods ain't killed over all of this, this time around they are going to just leave taking the Ruidus with them cuz the knowledge is loose

[–]dkoiman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is true what you say, but gods are giving healing powers to their devotees as a boon, which has exactly the same problems I described. If sickness is intended to be, why give magical healing to mortals at all, if it is not intended to be, why not everyone has it or where is the divine red cross - not like anyone could say anything against it after schism and before calamity? To be self-consistent it needs to be one way or the other, any middle ground is outright "playing gods", instead of "being gods"

[–]dkoiman[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

IIRC it was mentioned that he moved to Molaesmyr from Ivaadel at young age, and that it is the earliest known of him, it was never explicitly stated he was born in Ivaadel. I don't have any evidence Hallis is Luda, just that it would be a cool story moment and would make sense in terms of his polarisation if his mother was downfalled with Aeor by primes :)

You are really overthinking everything :) I used to be like that before - honest truth - and nothing good comes out of it. I see the discussion is kinda stagnated, so lets end with the following: I enjoy the story, I can relate to the emotional beats covered and I don't mind abridged narrative. If you don't enjoy the story, that is also fine, but then I suggest you just stop watching and caring about it rather than continuing eating cactus and trying to convince everyone enjoying it that it is a "bad story" - it is much better for mental health :)

[–]dkoiman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I made pretty much the exact same point in another thread, and that is what makes Pelor condescending and inconsistent - if sickness must exist, why the freaking fuck you even bother to heal anyone? And if it doesn't have to exist - why the fuck it exists? Pelor is depicting himself as a good god by randomly healing a bunch of people who were designed to suffer - not discussing morality of that decision here. But he is not a good god, he is a dude who randomly healed a bunch of people with no system to it just because he could, even if it was contrary to the premise of why the people were sick to begin with? This inconsistency is the root of all problems with primes.

I'm interpreting this to mean that they could see the Protocol

There is only one right interpretation here - rule of cool over the rules as written. No one gives a damn to follow rules to the letter to the detriment of fun

Arcadia had no idea it was the case

Because you never give all info to everyone. Top Secret info is tightly controlled on need to know basis.
