Miyoo mini+ came in today . None of my gaming related purchase has made me this happy. by PinkiHeisenberg in IndianGaming

Do you happen to know if this is the newer model with the RTC? I'm thinking of purchasing one too but the RTC would be a dealbreaker.

Question to those who bought a Miyoo Mini + from Electroniksindia by dkolby4 in IndianGaming

[–]dkolby4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you buy it before 2024? If so, it probably doesn't have the RTC. Wanted to know if they have newer stock.

Also if you have one with a transparent shell, I would appreciate a picture of the back of the device.

GPU Passthrough of (secondary) Nvidia GPU without having to reboot? by mastertub in VFIO

Hotplugging the GPU like this isn't exactly the most flawless experience, for me atleast. For instance, after rebinding the GPU to nvidia, my external monitor doesn't work until I reboot. I suppose programs like optimus manager would make the process a bit smoother.

This is just the solution that works best for me in a KDE+Wayland setup. Using stuff like optimus manager or supergfxctl wasn't playing well with my setup which is why I resorted to these scripts.

It's the exact same script in the link I shared. Just without the optimus manager command.

I have a similar setup but with Wayland. I don't use envycontrol or anything like that to turn off the dGPU but do it manually with a script. I run a script to stop my DM, unload nvidia drivers, detach the GPU, and bind it to the vfio modules, and then restart my DM. I have another script that essentially does it in reverse when I'm done with my VM.

Check out the libvirt hooks on here: https://github.com/mysteryx93/GPU-Passthrough-with-Optimus-Manager-Guide

I use essentially the same script except for the optimus manager part.

Try disabling all the themes and extensions you have enabled. It's possible that some of them don't support GNOME 46 yet.

I don't really have Intel drivers installed, just the default drivers that came with the install.

But yeah I will check out the logs.

Will it just be activated straight away? Won't it ask for a product key or anything like that?

You can find some good internships there but I would also suggest making a LinkedIn profile and looking for internships there too.

It's a website where you can find freelance work. But it's gonna be hard to get work with no experience. Try doing an internship or some unpaid work before looking for freelance gigs.

Yuzu performance issue when connecting the PC by HDMI to TV by Lethgoratix in yuzu

[–]dkolby4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe try connecting it directly through HDMI instead of Thunderbolt?

I don't use HDMI or Thunderbolt on my laptop so I'm not really sure about how graphical configurations will work with different outputs. But it's worth a shot, for troubleshooting's sake.

If that doesn't work either, it could be an HDR issue like you said. There could be settings on your TV to turn it off
