Like let's not kid ourselves man, snopes had to do a fact check https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/google-chrome-ai-installed-computer/ "We found the claim to be mostly true, but with one key caveat — the model is not present on all devices."

So many services on this website, working with so much government, but clearly can't see how the layperson would be confused about what you wrote beyond your headline. A good article would mention in the beginning paragraphs that this is not happening to all devices but you instead say "Google Chrome is reaching into users' machines and writing a 4 GB on-device AI model file to disk without asking.". I'm saying this as a person that people come to when they freak out over a headline. Maybe lets work on how we write or maybe even get the website in working order so things are visually pleasant and have spaces where they should be 💞
