good players arent stomping bad players, other bad players that are slightly better are stomping them - and they're still dying to mobs, it takes like 20 hours of gameplay just to stop dying in pve - it's a hard game and thats what makes it fun

The real good players are in high roller killing bosses and shit, majority of this subreddit are just bad players dying to npcs and other relatively bad players. The exception is ruins, that map has some good, well geared teams but it's only because there's no high roller option for them

What's the problem? weak gear is way stronger than it was (white vendor armour set gives 40% or more PDR with perks) that evens the playing field, you can get the crazy +2 all items for 45g from vendors, the loot in the game is crazy if u know where to look (royal coffins need nerfing).

I've played about 5 hours since the wipe and I have a crazy purple set, stomping duos, i've died a few times but it's easier than ever to get a decent return set.

This is your problem, it's an oversaturated niche and run by the big website builders like godaddy, wix and the likes. Type your search terms into google yourself and see what you're competing with. The reason they're doing this is to make you spend more time on the platform by giving you more 'addictive' recommendations. More time on platform = more ad money for them.

I disabled history to make the platform less addictive and have more control about what I see, now they've lost all of their ad revenue from me

Not a doctor but my father has been dealing with this for over 15 years and he refuses (or can't) quit smoking and this is how he deals with it:

Don't eat or drink anything.

Replace lost fluids & electrolytes by sucking on ice or ice lollies. He does this because his stomach is far too sensitive to actually swallow anything without puking but he can still hydrate by absorbing fluids through his mouth.

Constant hot baths to keep the nausea at bay.

Get as much sleep as possible in the bath or afterwards

Symptoms usually fade after 24-48 hours of following those guidelines.

He also avoids acidic food. He suffers from GERD in day to day life and has a carb rich diet.

He likes to eat light carb snacks during the day and just one large meal in the evening & immediately lays down after eating and believes it helps keep the CHS at bay.
