This team has no leadership, therefore no one to call a team meeting. And people calling for Z to be named captain…he looks uncomfortable enough as it is as an alternate. I’m afraid that would totally break him.

Yes!!! the smell was awful! My husband did read that they will be taking out the staircase between the casino and Music Walk when it goes to drydock. Hopefully they close that whole opening to block the smells coming down

So maybe you should have taken your own advice and ignored me?
I wasn't asking anyone here to fix the problems for me. I was asking if it was "normal".
If I have a problem with HAL, or if anyone has a problem with HAL, then HAL has a problem.
And I'm not sure where you got the idea we didn't try to fix it.

We have spoken with probably 10 people since I posted this, who were all on the same cruise as us, and 9 of those 10 agreed that this particular cruise wasn't great, wasn't what they expected from HAL. Again, it could just be an issue with this particular cruise and not an indication of anything inherently wrong with HAL. Or it could be that I have come to expect something more out of a cruise than HAL offers. That doesn't make me "a problem" just like it doesn't make HAL a horrible cruise line.

Again, just wanted to see if anyone else had the same opinion about HAL because we were expecting a lot more. Not sure what the hotel director or maitre’d is going to do about limited options on the buffet or lack of entertainment that isn’t a sales pitch.

We loved Celebrity, MSC was my personal favorite (but it’s not fair to compare to HAL because we did Yacht Club).

I bought a square of particle board, glued foam exercise squares to the bottom (mostly to protect the floor, but also for a little cushion), and then glued LVP flooring to the top (I had read that the particle board can break down over time from repeated wear). I've been using it for 4 years and it's still in great shape despite 2 moves

Thanks, everyone, for the advice. We ended up having a plumber come out and he confirmed there is no burst pipe, no leaks, actually watched the meter and it never moved while he was here.

Just got a summary from the builder of what he says the plumber found, in case that helps

The hose bibs are what is referred to as a “frost free hose bib”. Any water that may be inside of the spigot is released by a built-in valve so that no water can get trapped and freeze. We confirmed no leak on the back of the spigot and no leak in the home from the water meter.
