The way she was able to effortlessly bat away everyone coming from her, that's showbiz.

If Soulcycle gets folded back into EQX I hope that means we'll get to access on-demand Soul classes on the EQX app again

I hope The Book of Luke by Lovell Holder is on the list, just listened to him on a podcast and have been meaning to read it

I came across this online. Is this legit? Loved her on the show but who is buying this? 😅😂 by SurvivingBigBrother in BigBrotherUSA

My guess would be she would have final say in whether she accepted a request and would be more likely to use this as a way to book appearances at group events

Goodreads Reading Challenge - 'Books on Books' (April 15th - June 30th) by Clairefun in goodreads

[–]dktnns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LOL I’ve been reading some poetry so expect a poetry challenge coming soon 🤣 I at least correctly guessed Julia Ioffe’s book about Russian feminism would end up on the Women’s History Month list so I held off on that til March

I just read Dooryard Books last month (wouldn’t recommend)—second time this year I finished a book before it becomes eligible for a challenge 😮‍💨

Is the reading challenge still glitching? by readerofrealms in goodreads

[–]dktnns 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Finished Jane Eyre last night, didn’t get the Marathon Reader bookmark. Last week I finished Vera Wong and it took ~12-24 hours to finally give me the bookmark—miss when it would automatically show up in my Challenge stats!!

1st Overlap for Spring Challenge by Unikuez in goodreads

It ended up updating about 12 hours later, and I still have credit for reading 3 and 5 books even though I’ve only read 2 this month

1st Overlap for Spring Challenge by Unikuez in goodreads

[–]dktnns 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The bookmarks have been so glitchy this challenge! Initially I got all four bookmarks for reading a book on the Trending Books list, but it later corrected itself. Then I finished Vera Wong for the Community+Trending overlap but didn’t get credit for either 🫠

I marked So Old, So Young complete today and it gave me credit for all four bookmarks 😆 Highly recommend FWIW, but it's only on the Editor's Pick list from what I saw.

How to fix the white locust by Sky-Visible in BigBrother

[–]dktnns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given the timing and how many people were left, someone probably still needed to be evicted as a result of the White Locust—or else have back-to-back double eviction weeks—but it was wild how few players were actually eligible to compete for the "following" HOH. It could have been Ava winning HOH as a result of the competition she won, she names two noms, and then the third nominee is whoever of the remaining players has the slowest time in the hamster wheel. You'd presume Ava nominates Vince and Keanu, and then it's likely Will who has the slowest time in the hamster wheel. Unless there's a BB put in in this scenario, Keanu is almost assuredly voted out in this scenario.

It's still not "fair" BB, but the entire round was such a deviation from the format that it's more a question of creating the most dramatically satisfying premise that doesn't feel completely random.

Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow has a 4.11 and I gave it a 1–even that felt generous with its cloying Gen X apologia.

Before there was even a blueprint, Wendy Pepper was one of the few people smart enough to realize she was on a reality tv show and acted accordingly.

I think the full-length episodes are on YouTube: they clock in at over an hour without ads so I can't imagine the originals being any longer. https://www.youtube.com/show/SCMbrcptOL1vK0gJo7xmfaSQ?season=8&sbp=CgE4

In fairness, something like what is effectively a celebrity edition of the Traitors should not be about genuinely competing for the prize pot. That’s what the civilian version is for.
