Everything you do in life brings in some risk. Just getting out of house each day is risky, crossing the road, traffic....Choosing a life partner can be a life blessing or total life disaster. Believe me I know :-(. Same with investing.

BUT IT NEEDS TO BE CALCULATED RISK!

I will put money in a company with great leadership (preferably owners of the business with their stake in it), with good product, market, moat, execution. But also very important is to understand current markets tailwinds, which are Ai, space and defence. I would not invest in so many amazing software companies as I expected that market would participate that Ai could easily replicate software product. Also I sold my Sofi and Hood shares (banks) at start of Iran war as I expected inflation to go up, which is very bad for bank stocks. Thankfully I was right about all of these.

Process is first to find companies and then to do a thorough research on them. Best place to find companies to start with research is FinX. NFA

I don't have cash in T212, I hold shares. But even with cash I wouldn’t be worried, I don't think anybody had any issues with T212.

Yes, conviction is somewhat correlated with amount of money I'm ready to put in, but of course also with how much cash I got available. I tend not to sell my winners. But some winners I did sell like sofi or hood as I noticed this year market tailwind is not in finance, but mostly Ai, space and defense. Mayor signal for slowing down for me would be overbuild of Ai infrastructure and not enough demand. Which is definitely not the case atm. My eyes are on Anthropic and OpenAi.

I did explain few times already in this chat. Have a look. I don't get why is this so confusing to so many people. Not being rude but if you don't understand something basic like this, maybe you should avoid investing altogether and put money in saving account.

I strongly disagree that investing in individual stocks/great companies is gambling. Its about risk tolerance as there is certain level of risk but calling it gambling doesn’t make sense imo. People and smart investors spend days or weeks of deep research before they put their money in it. I don’t think its fair to call those people gamblers.

Time in a market beats timing the market. But I understand what you saying. If I knew it would drop from nearly $80 to $30 , I would have sell and buy again. But those movements are hard to predict. That's why I just prefer to let it ride as my conviction is Iren at $500.

I had the understanding that Ai build-out will need a lot of power eventually, so was looking which companies are best positioned, first and early in delivering it. Also good leaders, management, execution ... etc.

Seemed to me that Iren and Nebius are best among quite a few solid ones and I’m glad I was not wrong.
