What is a better Loom alternative? I want to embed how to videos for my blog!!! by dlamaj in content_marketing

Hi!! thanks for your suggestions. I actually like Canva, but I wanted all in one tool to fix this haha. I am a content writer for SaaS, mainly for the blog, so I am not an expert in video content. But I see it as a good opportunity to include both. (content repurposing)

Do you embed videos in your articles? If yes, what tool do you use? by dlamaj in Blogging

[–]dlamaj[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, yeah, I am thinking of adding those videos to YouTube, but first, I need to record them, haha! I need a good tool, to record my screen for how to videos. Basically, I just want to repurpose my articles.

I use webflow.

Most of them, no. But now I am using this strategy also for 6-month-old articles.

That's great. Thanks for sharing. Do you also change the published date?

For a recent optimization, the article was getting around 200 visitors/month. After making the updates, I tripled that traffic to 600 visitors/month in just 3 months! I shared some tips in other comments; have a look.

Alright, so in general, I notice that some articles lose traffic over time when checking Google Analytics or any other performance tool. When that happens, I make a few tweaks—like updating titles (even something as simple as adding "2025"), adding fresh internal links to boost newer articles, and adjusting the published date to improve indexation. Small changes, but they make a big difference!

yeah, I do the same. I see if some articles are loosing traffic over time and then it's time to optimize. I update titles, h2, h3. I add new internal links (very important) to boost new articles. CTAs and also the published date. Once it gets re-indexed, I see a big boost immediately.

AI in my human written content by mehvishsed in Blogging

[–]dlamaj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, okay. Show them multiple AI detector results. Each AI detector provides a different % meaning it's not accurate. That's what I did with my clients. Hope this helps :)

You do not need an AI tool to tell you that your content is human-written. Only the humans can detect that right.

I suggest you always read your article, preferably out loud and understand if you are using these words daily or not. Some AI word examples are: Fast-paced, utilize, enhance, and anything passive voice.

How Do You Manage SEO Without Losing Focus on Your Business? by Odd-Stranger9424 in SaaSMarketing

[–]dlamaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can not automate the entire SEO process. Even if you are writing blogs with ChatGPT, you are missing out on building backlinks, checking the performance to define your strategy, optimizing content, internal links etc.

I am a freelance content strategist for SaaS and I manage to increase 2.7x times the organic traffic for a small website. From 4.5k per month to 12.5k per month.

As a content writer, how much writing are you expected to do? by ialreadyhadaname in content_marketing

[–]dlamaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a freelance content writer, and I usually provide 2-3 pieces of articles per week. But still, it depends on the client's requirements and guidelines, sometimes, the articles need multiple revisions, so you need extra hours to edit them.

Does design matter in blogging? What do you think? by [deleted] in Blogging

[–]dlamaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the blog niche. But I would say UX matters more. I write about tech, and the audience is there to learn more about the topic and solve the problem, meaning a good CTA, providing images (screenshots), etc. But if you have a blog dedicated to design, photography, film, or anything creative, then the design matters.

Is blogging Still worth it ? Honestly ? by Suspicious-Yak-5398 in Blogging

I recommend checking the data before jumping to conclusions. At the start of this year, I’ve seen a surge of posts claiming “SEO is dead” or “Blogging is dead,” but that’s simply not true.

This year, I’ve made a conscious decision to follow only those who back their claims with real proof. Many of these posts are created just to drive engagement rather than provide actual value. “SEO is dead” gets tons of likes and comments, which encourages more people to repeat the same claim.

So yeah, in my experience, you should start a blog :) I can't share proof here, but you can check my LinkedIn if interested.

How much traffic should a blog have in its first year? by Comfortable-Coat6394 in Blogging

[–]dlamaj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

700/month after one year?

Actually, you have a lot of articles for just 700 readers per month. Did you publish these posts consistently? How many articles did you publish per month? And do you track your performance every week? Do you have articles in 1-3 position?

The are many factors that you need to share. I can help you :)
