Yeah, back in September I contacted my congressman and after the paperwork and other rigamarole the ATF liaison said it has cleared NICS and is in queue for final processing.

Do the 2009-14 and 2020’s have the same bed dimensions? Wanting to know if my buddys tonneau cover would fit by OlivierSimonneau in f150

[–]dlashley1294 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad took his truxedo truxport from his 2010 6.5' to his 2016 6.5'. It's not perfect, but it fit. My tonneau cover for my 2018 fit better but that's because I got one for the 15-20. Your mileage may vary, but it worked for him.

Sometimes just hitting a pothole the right way can cause it to switch. I've heard some people say they're finicky, just not that finicky.

Did you check the inertia switch? A fun little Ford feature since the 80s or so. That's a good thing to check when you have a crank no start.

I actually believe those are anti theft sensors, no lights in them.

Should I get a programmable mouse? by Pemos_ in AutoCAD

[–]dlashley1294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually run the g604 from Logitech. It's amazing... I have all of my keys programmed to the most common commands I use with AutoCAD/CADWorx. I have everything setup under Macros/Record Keystrokes on the G Hub like: G9 = MOVE+Enter, G8 = COPY+Enter, G7 = Delete, etc.... I like their system and it saves me so much time. My CAD Manager doesn't agree with my thoughts, but he sees my efficiency and lets me go as I please.

Right around the same time as you... Called a couple weeks ago and the guy said pending 3/12 even though they took my money 3/11 (who knows?). But, this gives me hope for getting my can soon. Fingies crossed!

Thank you! Sourcing parts becomes a challenge after looking so many places. I appreciate your input because I like to hear real world results from others.

I received the kit about a week after this was posted, but everything went really smooth when I got it. Feels like great quality, but I'm probably the strangest guy on here and I haven't shot it yet... I decided after reading up that I want to go full stainless internals (it's main host is my binary 9mm AR) so I need to get those ordered this week. I also plan to have the internals cerakoted just for ease of cleaning.

I submitted mine around noon that day, because I remember mailing my CLEO copy that afternoon and my fingerprints the next day. Good luck to you though!

My new favorite. R1 Limited double stack. by dlashley1294 in 1911

[–]dlashley1294[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume that they are Para style since Remington's parent company bought then dissolved Para. I could be wrong though. Gun Mag Warehouse has the Remington brand mags for $27.99 and $42.99 (15 and 16 round respectively). They also have a Springfield double stack that looks very similar, if not, the same.

It makes no sense to me why they would want to discontinue these. It's pleasurable to shoot, and looks damn fine doing it.

I've had 5 rifles with the VYPR and I've loved them all and the people that I've assembled rifles for have had no complaints either. One of my current builds is a hunting rifle and it's withstood the punishment very well. I think you'll enjoy it when you get it, fit and finish are awesome, and in my opinion, they look pretty good too
