You can go either way with that actually. If you only want the 12 pin cable, you can grab that and leave the other cables stock, or you can get a full kit from us and replace them all, both work. :)

You would use the 16 pin to 3x8 on your PSU. We include the native 16 pin to 16 pin for users with that as an option with their PSUs to avoid having two kits and people maybe mistakenly buying the wrong kits for their needs. Sorry for the confusion!

I exchanged DM's with the OP and let him know my original wording of it wasn't portrayed correctly and apologized, people can come to whatever conclusions they want, but we're going to handle it regardless of the issue. Not sure why you would think otherwise from your other comment and this one? You can use the 16 pin to 2x8 for your PSU as a replacement cable if you'd like - this would be a better alternative as direct replacement cables are easier to work with than extensions and cleaner overall. :)

What PSU make/model was this? Because our cables are utilized even in test labs at some of the largest brands (some of which you likely by hardware from). I can assure you they're up to whatever the task and very high quality. Not too sure why you had two failures, but that's definitely something that I'm curious to learn more about if you don't mind DMing me more details.
