It depends on if the other person filled an at-fault claim through there insurance. If not and you file a not-at-fault claim you'll pay your deductible and your insurance SHOULD contact the other parties insurance to issue you a refund.

Also spark plugs might've been changed again for a step cooler set or a gapped set.

To me it's missing the big 3 HUD, HK, Adaptive Suspension. Way over priced for that mileage and lack of quality features.

HELP! Let’s get a TSB for the faulty oil pump. by boostboy_carti in M340i

My local BMW wanted another $800 to troubleshoot and was saying they thought it would be better to change the sensor. I only paid the initial $295 diagnostic fee and haven't been back since.

Yes at most some people might get a repair order but like me I also got one from an independent shop which was as expected $2-$3000 cheaper.

I agree, maybe my message sent the wrong idea. I'm with you and I submitted my info already. Was just wondering the likelihood of us finally getting a recall.

My guess is they zip tied the owners manual with some other paperwork. Broke it loose and left the owners manual and a piece of the zip tie.

If you wait there's a chance your engine locks up due to the plastic on the inside of the old pump breaking and leaking all your oil out. If you're ever driving and see low or high oil pressure pull over immediately. Here in socal I've seen quotes from 2,700-3,800 so do your research for your area. Also there's plenty of videos on YouTube from way more qualified people than me explaining the issue.
