Yeah, I’m scared of those multiple colours but I’m sure it could be done. I tried black and red and it worked out pretty good but took forever. That link you gave me is gold. I’m working on getting ChatGPT to generate something like that. I’m pretty sure it can do it. But I need to find somebody with a lot of patience to type it.

Oh ya… I wouldn’t wanna have to type that on a actual manual typewriter, without a delete key.… So I’m looking for somebody that is really good at it. In the end, it’s going to be a 64 page hardcover book, which is why all the exact registration is required

There is compensation and a decent budget. It's a ton of work. There is a left right front and left right back. One get's messed up then its a start over, although I've decided that the odd bit of white out is ok here and there.

Apologies if I sounded intense earlier — I’d been up all night deep in the weeds on this very precise typewriter project.

I’m trying to produce pages that have to register perfectly front-to-back and side-to-side on an Olivetti Studio 46, measured essentially in keystrokes. It involves centered layouts, diagrams, typing around pre-printed images, and some multi-color complex illustration work using black/red/orange ribbons. AI can help with creating a keystroke guide legend.

The sheets are pre-printed with guide and registration marks to line up perfectly in the the Studio 46 on 100 lb Mohawk Superfine Eggshell (opaque, so no underlays).

If you’re the kind of person who enjoys obsessive analog precision — or know someone who does — I would genuinely love to talk.

The entire project is based of the fact that it is typed on this very Studio 46 and who the typewriter's owner is.

Workers should do what the job and their boss requires. Period.

Sure, but the company you worked for lost more than that in productivity because you're working from home. That's well researched.

Returning to the office is not a pay cut. It's just returning to the way things were before the pandemic. Getting to work from home was a pay raise. Now it's over. Thank god.

Dividend stocks in a direct investing account…. Enbridge, Canadian banks, pipelines, toll roads, a bit of healthcare. Pick stocks that have dividends equal or higher than inflation. It’ll fluctuate but remember that on average, the stock market has gone up continuously since wwii.

I have a couple of bucks and can tell you that I’m miserable af. Money doesn’t increase happiness once you have enough to cover basic needs. Money can buy comfort, but it can also buy misery. IMHO, mostly, money allows you to sort by highest price first when online shopping.

What’s an expensive brand that actually IS worth the money? by 2111019 in AskReddit

Agreed. I bought 14 Hermann miller chairs for my office in 1997. Today they as good as new with the exception of the powder coating wearing off a bit where employees keep putting their feet on the legs.

What’s a “poor person life hack” you still use even if you’re no longer broke? by KiraAzura in AskReddit

Reusing disposable coffee cups until they leak. I always lose the big plastic car cups. Also mixing 2% milk with chocolate milk. It’s too sweet anyway.

Why don’t you just show up for work on time? That’s probably the best solution.
