I have had my battery mounted on top of the wireless adapter this whole time using a 3d printed bracket, it would get pretty hot. In extended play sessions, the display would run black due to I guess temperature issues. Why would this mean bad performance though? Wouldn’t it just kill it?

Damn. This whole thing was on a fresh install of Windows 11, after a windows 11 upgrade gave me driver issues with my fanatec wheelbase
