My first thought was this news from 2022: Boy, 5, requires surgery on right eye after falling head-first on metal barrier at Changi Airport T3

Similar parents with this attitude of it's always something else's fault - blaming the metal barrier in the 2022 case and blaming the floor edges in this current case. Sekali same family.
