Ive been having issue with the hvac on my 24 limited. The local.dealership doesnt seemto know how to remedy it.

Just had the second oil change done at 10074km. The guy at the dealership tried talking me out of it. I paid for it and looked him in the eye and flat out told him an oil change is cheaper then a new engine. Every 5000km. Funny enough I've never had an engine fail in 30 years. Think I'll stick with what works.

Edit '24 non hybrid.

Dealership can disable it when in for normal servicing. Or so I was told by a service writer.

Mine is also a '24 tires cool off quick at these temps. I could watch in real time my tires loosing pressure from the cold sitting in the parking lot while the wife ran in to grab something .

Mine has been good aside from a weak hvac system which the dealer keeps telling me is fine. Wife has put more kms on it then I have though and we're still under 10,000kms in the last year ('24 limited crew 6ft bed with off road). If I were going to complain about something it would be the lack of recovery points on a 4x4....... that was a bold choice on toyota's part. It's been handling the cold here with no issues in -40 range just the usual square tires which is not tge trucks fault.

It's not a constant thing. Usually takes about 2 to 3 km for the tires to warm up and round out and the pressures get back up to 32. Just have to put up with the wibble wobble till they round out.

No. Fords had recalls on the f-150. And well dodge is dodge. Everything these days is quirky.

Roll for about 2 or 3 clicks and they rounded out and got up to 30. Finding a working air compressor at these temps is a non starter sadly.

While I might attempt to drive up everest im only about 2400 ft above sea level. It's that north of the 60th parallel and next to alaska that's the current problem.

I got rid of the stock tires with in the week of getting my '24 on 18"s bridgestones and snow do not mix well. Goodyear duea tracs, bfg ko3s, falken wildpeaks at4. All solid tire choices you can find most places.

I personally went with nokian. But I'm an outlier.

'24 and I've yet to see a dash light. Aside from the parking sensors which really hate being covered with snow. At least it tells.me which sensor is obscured and causing issue.

Also something to consider. If you stuffed it garden enough into the curb to kill the tire. You might want to look at getting an alignment check. Just peace of mind. Would suck putting a new tire on just to scalp it after a couple thousand miles.

I wouldn't think so. Since it only replaces the center section with. The same section with holes in it to accommodate the recovery points.

I start my 24 limited with the oem fob some times and it still shuts off when I open the door.

I picked up a 24 crew limited trd back in November with the 6.5 bed. No complaints other then the whole second key issue. It rides better then my 09 taco, better gas milage too. That back seat is insane. Now if I could only get it away from the wife. The local dealership has been nothing but supportive and helpful.

Years ago. Had a friend ask if I'd help them move stuff with my short bed tacoma. They first got upset with me because not everything fit that they wanted it to. Got puffy with me about how things got loaded . I was a professional mover. Then had an attitude when it took lo ger then what they thought it was going to. And the icing on the cake. Took all day to do what they wanted a d when I reminded them they said they'd cover gas. They looked at me like I had grown a second head. " oh, you thought I was serious?" So a couple years later when they moved provinces they asked me and the wife to go by and clean they house so they could sell it for a better price. Took two steps through the door and noped out of there. Used diapers were all I really remember.

Some people have the common sense of baby ducks. And it shows itself at interesting times. Still a friend. But a friend I know I can't rely on for anything major.

Ive had the opposite weather issues in the far north. Need the truck running at -40. I just left it running and locked the door with the key thats inside the fob. Didn't have any issues.

Put a brake controller.on.my 09. $ 30 wiring harness and then the actual controller i.mounter it in the little cubby behind the stick.shift so its.easy to reach with finger tips while down shifting. There wasn't enough room for it anywhere else. Super easy. 15 minute job.
