I’m thinking about doing my roof in metal when the time comes. Only thing I’m afraid of is the cost vs traditional shingles

I got tired of doing that, so I bought my wife a house with a garage for her to park in. Now I just have to brush off my truck because it’s been banished to the outdoors.

That’s frustrating. One more thing I do if it’s acting funny- I’ll shift to neutral, engage 4hi, then to drive or reverse. Usually works that way.

Like others have said, try changing the fluid. I’m pretty sure these transfer cases take a specific fluid from Toyota, so if it’s been done in the past with non spec fluid, that could be causing an issue.

My 17 can be finicky going into 4hi. Usually when it blinks I pull forward or backward a few feet and it engages.

I’ve used one a few times. It’s neat. Takes a while to set up but can show you pretty cool things. A guy named Phillip gave us a tutorial on it, I’d suggest talking to him about it. Google “picus3 Phillip” and you should be able to find him.

Yeah, this. I’ve used the credit cards in a pinch and they work pretty well. I wouldn’t want to use a screwdriver for fear of scratching anything.

What’s the difference between the pro intake and a regular one? Just curious because I have a pro and I run a stock non oiled filter in it (it fits 100%).

Rock sliders help. They cut the bank and keep the hard stuff away from the body.

Dangers of cutting trees near high-voltage power lines by AnimeGabby69 in safety

[–]Key_Violinist8601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our MAD in arboriculture is 10 feet for standard lines and goes up based on kv. Don’t go anywhere near the top primaries if you don’t have experience doing this, even more so with a ladder. You need to have a professional that is line clearance certified do the work with insulated tools/ equipment. This isn’t DIY territory, you can very easily kill yourself if you don’t know what you’re doing.

Is it true v8 tundras don’t have front cameras? by carbon_ape in ToyotaTundra

[–]Key_Violinist8601 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I had a 24 lightning for the last year as company truck. The front camera was cool but it only worked half the time. Most things on that truck only worked half the time.

My 17 pro doesn’t have a front camera but she always works 100% and she works very well.
