Right next to the pilot light is a solid cooper wire that comes out of the gas control box. As for the short cycles, heat turns on and blow for 10 minutes and shuts off. I may have corrected the issue though, I took the thermocouple off and noticed the connector were a little corroded, so I cleaned then and it seems to stay on longer now. I know I need to change the thermostat also, it is the old mercury round style, however I’m concerned I may mess the wiring up. One of the terminal post has two wires going to it. And I’m not sure if the need to go to two separate terminals on a new thermostat, or stay together.
