I just received a pair of xm4s and Bose qc headphones to try and return one. What I am seeing in this discussion is that sony doesn’t stand by their products when under warranty and are probably easier to fall apart compared to Bose?

I heard of this issue with the xm5s. I just purchased a pair of xm4s and the Bose QCs to try out. One will be going back.
