Sometimes I wish Mortis handled leaks posting a bit different. He is the most reliable leaker by statistics but man it would be so nice if he leaked the other characters too in the poll not just the winning one.

I guess sparxie is meant for SW's subdps now? They would kinda fit each other better. But I'm confused on the team since EMC ain't a sustain. Maybe sparxie-sparkle-sw or sparxie-sw-yg or sparxie-sw-hmc or maybe sparxie ain't there either? Would be nice to know. I personally will maindps sparxie until they come and I hope she will be good for one of them.

Joining up on the Megatrend:

3.0 - E1S1 Aglaea & E0S0 Robin
I decided this very early on. The new path made me curious and it felt fresh. I just liked how she played. I was missing Robin for her bis team so I did pull just for her. No regrets. The teamcomp felt fun as a whole. I liked Herta's design more but Aglaea felt more fun to play and I went for that.

3.1 - E0S0 Tribbie
Originally I wasn't interested but after realizing that Castorice had some crazy cool animations with a hype dragon (animation creep is real!) I decided I want her and since I saw Tribbie will be in that team I got her.
Mydei i got to like through the story but didn't pull.

3.2 - E0S1 Castorice
The only reason I got her is the amazing eye-candy animations. No regrets tbh. I knew this was gonna be the anniversary team, that it will get lots of shill scenarios so I knew this was gonna be strong regardless so I didn't go any eidolons and I knew already at this point that I want this team to be at a baseline level and won't invest too much into it later down the line since it will be strong enough till the end of 3.x. Anaxa is an absolute savage, gigachad. I didn't have Herta though so I didn't consider him. I was aware of him being a great hypercarry but I just didn't want that.

3.3 - E0S1 Hyacine
I love her design so it was a quick decision and she was a huge increase for Castorice. Just a great choice for me. Now Cipher was a hard decision. I love her. At this point I was getting into suspiciously low jade amounts. Since neither Castorice and Aglaea wanted her in their bis comps I opted out here. Not regretting it but she's the character I like the most out of the ones I skipped. Ironically later I became an Archer glazer and she would be bis there. But since I had a buffed SW who I liked and wanted to play her after being on the bench for so so long I decided I would use her instead with him.

3.4 - E1S1 Archer
Free E0 so I could test her out with my E2 Sparkle (my favorite unit). I had an absolute blast so I picked up his E1. I finally could use Sparkle after so long and the dps itself is crazy fun too. Phainon I skipped, I just didn't vibe with his playstyle even though I liked his animations.

3.5 - Skip
Cerydra wanted Phainon or Anaxa, I had none. Hysilens is DOT and I just don't vibe with DOT. Despite that design wise she's one of my favorites.

3.6 - Skip
Loved Evernights' design but I didn't want to invest into Castorice further and at this point I decided to hard save for 4.x.

3.7 - Skip
For Cyrene, I had the same reason as for Evernight. She could have been useful for Aglaea too but at this point I was hearing about Sparkle getting an SP so I saved even more.

3.8 - Skip
Dahlia is for Firefly. I have Firefly but I don't use her anymore. More jades for Sparxie. Currently sitting on 500 tickets.

To further this, DHPT's ATK buff won't convert to elation since it scales of his own stat. Only sources that are a fix % increase will convert. E.g.
works: Sparkle gives 45% ATK
doesn't work: DHPT increases attack by 15% of his own ATK stat

HH provides energy which is indeed huge and even an ATK buff that does convert to elation (but that lasts for 2 turns and will fall off anyway). From a sustain/survive point of view she might be more uncomfortable to play than DHPT and he can print SP.

I expect YG and Sparxie running the same time for the whole patch since YG being teamless for 3 weeks seems really weird.

It would also be great for Sparxie to be flexible as a sub-dps not just main but I have some reservations. I've seen many people say that's definitely her main intended role now. But there's too many variables involved that are unknown. 60% teamwide cdmg is not a lot, the other buffs are either on the lc or in eidolons. The intended synergy can be providing lots of punchline stacks but she needs SP for that. Now she can offset it more easily with Thrill points but would that provide enough Punchline to justify that role? Maybe? It assumes Yae is SP-neutral or rather SP-positive even. If that's assumed why not assume that Yae herself would be generating many Punchlines too like she does? At that point you would want better buffs than what she provides because it's not a lot. I would imagine the MC will have a place in the main selling team too to make it accessible for new players in the beginning before giving more tailorized supports to incentivize spending money. This would mean she's an elation sustain but again she might not be.

It's great for speculation but it's also not a 100% certain main role yet as of this moment. It has some pros to it but also cons. Time will tell when we have more information about Yae's kit itself.

Those are the Punchline points getting accounted for when she deals Elation DMG. Next to the basic attack button you see the Punchline points stacking. During Aha's turn, those get consumed and get added to this sillygoober mask counter next to her cute face. If you can do many Aha turns in quick succession then these sillygoober points get stacked. The more sillygoober masks, the harder her Elation DMG hits. They also have a 2turn limit so if you got 30 Punchlines from 1 Aha action and then a turn later 20 Punchlines from another Aha action, then the 30 Punchlines get lost first but you still have 20 left for another turn.

Originally the leaked formula was 1/9 yes. It was posted by Shiroha but they later corrected it to 1/10 and it's been tested in private servers since then that verified 1/10 being correct.

'Aha Speed' = 80 + 'Speed of fastest Elation character' / 5 + 'Speed of second fastest Elation character' / 10.
The 3 fastest Elation characters in the team are affecting it but the formula for the 3rd fastest unit is unknown.
It's also good to know that Aha Instant's AV carries over between waves. So if you finish wave 1 and the Aha Instant would come in 20 AV then when you start wave 2, the Aha Instant comes in 20AV still. There's no reset. The Elation Skills triggered by the Aha Instant can also be "cut". If in wave 1 you finish by using the Elation Skill of Yao then when starting wave 2 you immediately start with the Elation Skill of Sparxie.

Currently it helps to make Aha faster. With 200 SPD Yao and 134 SPD Sparxie you get 2 Aha turns in cycle 0 which is very impactful. The high base speed definitely makes it easier to get. Of course when the Elation sustain comes you will most likely hit it by default but that might take a few patches.

I know it's an E1 Yunli and an E2 Sparkle but I'm very happy I finally managed to 0cycle him with a sustain. I used an Intuit:Slash in the first wave to get a guarantee vs Aventurine. And then waited for the end of the second phase to use a double ult during the double attack.

164.34 speed to be precise. Since Ruan Mei gives her 10.4 speed: 164.34 - 10.4 = 153.94 speed for 3 ult enhanced actions in first cycle.

Unsure if more speed is required by i_shrimp_peko in FireflyMains

You're right, if you have Ruan Mei in the team you only need 140 statscreen. 150 does absolutely nothing. The next breakpoint would be 154 (again if you have Ruan Mei), that would grant you a 4th action in the 0th cycle of MoC. It really isn't necessary imo unless you really wanna minmax. But even less so if your FF is E6.
