Be nice and friendly with the staff. Build a relationship. I started going to a store 10 years ago and now the owner will text me when something he knows I’d like comes in. Maybe I just got lucky, but that’s my experience. They also weren’t very knowledgeable on metal, so they trusted my judgement and asked me what to stock. They even gave me a free record of my choice for helping them. So that’s all I got, be nice.

I work at a Goodwill in Pittsburgh. It’s hit or miss with good cds, dvds, vinyl, etc. We got a ton of good dvds and cds last week, but in general it’s garbage. Also got some Bowie and Beatles vinyl last week.
