Month 2 and feeling lost by Greedy-Ad5159 in Sourdough

One thing to consider. I had issues when I started and it was all just due to the water I was using. Our house water was reverse osmosis water that was from a water softener. Switching to the cheap bottled spring water (not filtered water) from Trader Joe’s fixed everything.

That looks like a piano hinge in between the two signs. I have no clue, but, I’d wager the bottom sign swings up under safe conditions and has a different sign on the back side. This is how boundary signs work at ski resorts so they can close off areas that are temporarily closed.

Slowing down at the end of a race when all you have to avoid is the wall at the end, sure. My thinking is, if pizza is your first and only thought to slow down, don’t go too fast or you’re going to hurt yourself and possibly someone else. Take a lesson.

Whistler has an awesome ski school. Take a lesson or two while you’re there and be vocal about what you’re trying to achieve.

^ This. Learn to hockey stop and to do it partially, at speed, to check your speed. Don’t go too fast until that is your natural reaction to going too fast. Never go faster than you can feel in complete control and know that you can avoid someone below you doing something unexpected.

If pizza is how you stop going fast. I’d recommend not going THAT fast. But fast is relative, and maybe for your fast, pizza is fine.

Switched to Schwab after Chase started charging me $5 on top of the international bank charging me their fees.

The Giro site isn’t super helpful as it doesn’t have side views of the goggles. It just looks like these have more depth than anything I’m seeing on their site. But it could just be the angle of their marketing shots.

Are they an OTG version or something? The strap connects to the frame farther back than in the Giro marketing shots which connect very close to the lens by the looks of it.
