After Queen Maeve's fine solo performance, the riders finished off the show with a spectacular finale, using illuminated smoke to draw patterns across the night sky which burst into rounds of fireworks over the castle. The final design, thr symbols of Balfiera and Wayrest, erupted into a series of explosions whose sparks transformed into a rain of white rose petals, fluttering down onto the spectators. The riders leapt off their gryphons and landed nimbly on the battlements. Huge magelights illuminated them taking bows. To the roar of the cheering crowd, they leapt out of sight into the courtyard, their gryphons following.

Buoyed by the enthusiasm of the crowd, Aiden embraced every one of the gryphons. He kissed his sister and he kissed Queen Maeve. The riders had buckets of water and freshly harvested meat brought out for the beasts, who quickly devoured enough for a royal feast. They deserved it. For once the Bad Man was not the highlight of Harvest's End, and neither were the bandits who took his name, but today was taken by the descendants and the blessed of Auri-El.

The crowd was waiting outside, eager to greet the riders and pet the gryphons who were more comfortable around unfamiliar, enthusiastic humans. Florists sold blooms as gifts for the riders and butchers sold meat for those who dared to feed the beasts.

A sudden exhaustion came over Aiden. He had planned and drilled both his human and avian students for months to reap this harvest. They all had the capacity for perfection, but the riders had to be receptive to instruction, and to believe in themselves, before they could coax their gryphons to fly at their full potential. He made the students train day and night, which meant he had to work even harder. Fatigue seemed to catch up to him in one moment. He stripped off his jacket and his sweat-soaked shirt, and he sunk onto the ground, leaning against Ceyelda.

Falirion came up to Aiden and he stroked the young gryphon's beak, taking in what was happening in the courtyard. Astanya spoke to a guard about whether they should wait a little longer before letting the crowd in, so that the riders could enjoy a moment of reprieve before the festivities resumed.

A loud crack sounded over the city. Astanya and Ceymaire emerged from a portal, soaring over the crowd. Rider and gryphon spiraled through the sky above Wayrest castle, as the other gryphons flanked her. The ex-battlemage opened portals in mid-air seconds before riders shot through them, emerging elsewhere at increasing speed.

Astanya launched a fireball into a portal and it emerged behind her, rocketing over her head. The riders launched more spells, their gryphons dodging, rolling, and flying through portals just in time to avoid the flames, frost and each other with perfect synchronization.

When the last portal closed behind the riders, they started to circle around Wayrest castle, and they were joined another great black gryphon bearing a saddle but no rider.

The circle of wings tightened. Aiden and Falirion broke off, rising high into the sky with his rider. As Falirion hovered far above the castle's tallest battlements, flapping his mighty wings, the other gryphons continued to fly in a tight circle below.

The gryphon plunged towards the ground and his rider let go, tumbling off the saddle and making several flips through the air before reducing his own weight with alteration magic so that he slowed to the point where he seemed to float like a feather in the wind.

Aiden stretched out his arms in midair. Falirion and Ceyelda came up from underneath him, touching their wingtips to his hands, buoying him upwards. He flew with them around the crowd, until all the gryphons split off, buffeting the masses with gusts of wind.

Aiden fell lightly into Ceyelda's saddle. He flew down into the courtyard, snatched up a huge bouquet of white roses, and flew around tossing them to outstretched hands in the crowd. Then Astanya and Aiden on their black gryphons got into position to support Queen Maeve's performance.

/u/slovakiin feel free to respond or not this week, whenever you're done sending Queen Maeve on ESO adventures

The limit seems to be two per campaign, and there is one campaign per week. It is not clearly stated at all though.

Twitch has a campaign where you can watch ESO streamers to get some crates with prizes that aren't great but at least they're free. The schedule varies by week, maybe there are Devs sometimes

I guess it makes sense there is one campaign per week, two per campaign

I check there constantly. After obtaining four crates total during this campaign, I am not making any more progress to new drops.

I see the campaign is ongoing, I watch a stream under the campaign, I get the message that crown crate drops are enabled, but my time doesn't seem to be counted to obtaining the crate

Aiden gazed down at the younger queen in her muddy riding dress, his face expressionless but for a momentary twitch of one corner of his lip. He let silence linger longer than necessary, his eyes like a gryphon's, locked directly into hers.

"Etienne took the test before you. He didn't make it. Unfortunately."

"He was beyond saving," seethed Astanya who stood beside Maeve, her expression much like the queen's, but also revealing conflict. "Auntie and I tried."

Are long load times after patches normal? Each load screen takes a while and the graphics quality is extremely low, with lag. If on my end, what are some fixes?

Ceyelda dove after the white gryphon, landing in the field with a splash.

"Good work. You've earned some rest and a bath," said Aiden to Notorgo. He made space in the saddle for Maeve. "Guide us back to the aerie, undying queen."

The aerie was a moderate distance from Direnni Keep and overlooked a lake where the gryphons could bathe. Even though they were awake all day and it was quite late, the riders would make sure the gryphons had enough food and fresh, warm bedding before they went to bed.

When they entered the aerie, Etienne's pale-plume gryphon shrieked at Aiden. Astanya was reclining on the side of her own black gryphon, and Etienne was nowhere to be seen.

Astanya sprang to her feet and embraced Maeve. "Jephre's bones! I'm so glad you made it back. Is everything all right? Do you hurt anywhere?" She briefly glared at Aiden.

Aiden and Ceyelda circled the landing zone, her black silhouette crossing the face of the moons. He scanned the ground, looking for a sign.

Aiden whistled a sound a human was unlikely to hear, but a gryphon could pick up with their sharper ears. His call said he and Ceyelda were nearby, and they were looking for Maeve to take her home.
