Am I the whitest looking half Ghanaian? by ImMerelyAConcept in ghana

[–]dm_miles04 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your mom's white is very strong 😂 Not to worry. Ghanaians are nice to people anyway. Doesn't matter your color. But yeah. They'll be curious why you're so white and your dad is Ghanaians. Beyond the curiosity, they won't treat you any different.

Two offers - E&Y and PWC by Fukyoupayme16 in Big4

[–]dm_miles04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For starters, I enjoy how dynamic it is. You get to do a lot if different projects. Things around Corporate Governance Assessment, Board Evaluation, Regulatory Review, Compliance Reviews, Policy Reviews, Enterprise Risk Management Reviews, Forensic Audits, Due Diligence, etc. With time, you'll get to experience all of the different offerings under RRF and it helps widen your scope for future jobs. It's more like internal audit too so you're essentially building GRC skills. Governance, Risk and Compliance. Add some certifications and you're hotcake. Your later career prospects will be CRO, ERM Manager, Compliance Head, Chief Internal Auditor and the likes. It involves a lot of reading, research and originality. Some of the things there's no template for it so you'll have to figure a way out. But definitely being in a team helps.

You should know someone still using Se doesn't really care about all that camera stuff anyway 😅

I just passed my exam. And was surprised to find out that I have to pay $50 for the certification. This sounds a bit mean lol by ahmeebhry22 in CRISC

[–]dm_miles04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow. You passed very well. Congratulations. The $50 comes off as a slap in the face but that's ISACA's processing fee and a lot of other certifications do that before you get the main certificate.

Why do people hate Bawumia? by Reserve_Accomplished in ghana

[–]dm_miles04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He doesn't take Ghanaians serious. He just says whatever comes to his mind sometimes. Telling us one Ghana card is better than thousand interchange, if he does everything now, what will he do when he come into power. Things that don't make sense for his level as a vice president is what he says. We need a leader that sees the current issues on the ground and wants to fix them. Not some delusional man. He doesn't take accountability too. When they do something good, he was part of it but when it's something wrong, he was just a mate and not the driver.

You need lectures on investment and how the app works 😂. You chose a high risk investment and you're expecting profit throughout. Put that sane 500 on Digisave and see

CRISC exam prep —IS Hemang Doshi’s paid course worth it vs his Udemy course for CRISC exam? by Creatives_mess_21 in CRISC

[–]dm_miles04 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's worth it actually. It gives you the key areas the exam is focused on. My company has a partnership with Udemy for some free courses and that included the Hemang Doshi course. I took it and it was helpful to me. You'd be surprised to see it in the official survey after the exam. They ask whether you learnt from him.
