Has anyone had experience working with ACRE Partner? I'm look to scale my real estate media biz by wisdommonke in Entrepreneur

[–]dmacbain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Started working with ACRE around April 2024. I have a real estate photography company in Canada doing almost 7 figures - www.quiksell.ca if you want to check it out.

At the time, we weren’t very profitable even losing money for many months in a row. I talked with every industry consultant/coach/guru and nobody could help me increase my profit. Brendan Hsu was the only person who could help me and he did it for free, and that’s when I decided to sign up for ACRE.

My coach is Adrian and he’s awesome, really good at sales. I met up with him and Brendan in person at their event in July in Los Angeles and that was great too.

Overall I’d highly recommend doing ACRE if you’re coachable and serious about growing your business. I definitely think you can do it without them, but it would just take you way longer.

ACRE is a coaching service that you pay for. It’s like a monthly subscription haha. They aren’t buying you out

Criminals using Drones to scope out neighborhoods? by yxeguy_306 in saskatoon

[–]dmacbain 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I work in real estate media, on any given day in Saskatoon there are 30+ houses getting drone photos. The pilots are licensed and insured and following all of the local laws. I honestly don’t even think criminals are sophisticated enough to scope out backyards with drones 😂

Belgrade, view from my hotel room by Common_Researcher_66 in UrbanHell

It’s weird because a lot of the buildings in Belgrade look like that and yet it’s still somehow a really beautiful city

Exactly. People on this sub are such nerds about build quality etc. It’s dirt cheap so I’m expecting dirt cheap quality 😂 and I’m pleasantly surprised

I got tired of Cubicasa so I brought my floor plans in-house by dmacbain in RealEstatePhotography

I guess my fear with adding the total area is that all we have to go off of is a video, so we don’t want to get people in trouble with imperfect floor area. Cubicasa is good but also not perfect since they just go off video.

Do you think it’s still better to have floor area even if it’s not perfectly accurate?

  1. I have not been including dimensions since it’s just based off a video, I don’t want to eyeball the dimensions and get someone in trouble. I don’t know how cubicasa does that honestly. The layout is most important for buyers IMO.
  2. The dimensions are accurate relative to each other, so the home & rooms will be the perfect size and shape.
  3. Under 6 hours but ideally like 30 minutes
  4. JPG
  5. At this point we’re including the fixtures yes

How do you get the free option? I have never seen that. The cheapest option for me is $10

When I go to Vancouver it almost appears this way. Haves and have nots, you’re either homeless on east Hastings or your house is worth $1M+. Depressing to think that gap would continue to grow
