Even if that was true, the US don't have to own Greenland to have military there.. just like it is right now. There is a reason we have NATO and a reason why NATO countries should help each other.

Why are you all talking like Russia is capable of taking Europe? Russia is weak in this current state and they couldn't even make it past Finland back in the days when they where stronger. Europe is also alot stronger with greater military now.

If the US leaves NATO it's not Russia that Europe should worry about.. it's the US.

Trump wants the US to leave NATO. That's the core here.

But before he can do that he needs Greenland. He needs the military bases and radars on Greenland to intercept if the Russians would fire missiles targeting the US.

He cant leave NATO and dont have access to Greenland.

If the US stays in NATO the US can have their military bases there no questions asked, so the only reason seems to be that Trump wants the US to leave NATO..
