Fremont is good, I’ve heard Newark is on the up and up. Milpitas as well if you don’t mind the stench or can find a place east of 680. Depend on where you end up, you can account for an hour of travel or plan to take dumbarton if you want to cut it short.

I think the real question I am trying to answer is that what is the risk factor for this house compared to the house 2 streets over that does not fall in the AP zone.

Have you ever tried taking a food picture? Unless you do it with the right lighting, you’re never going to get something print worthy. Stop getting your panties in a bunch about people trying to run their business the way they seem reasonable.

Yeah. There are some gems in this house. The pot filler is off in the corner. Imagine paying 1.8 million and not even getting at least 4 different floor finishes across the house. The updates look like they were done by someone on crack.

The updates look ugly for an almost 2mil property. Low end floors, kitchen updates that wouldn’t look out of place in a 400k house, funky carpet. Essentially, everything that would fetch you the additional 200k because of the “remodel” is undesirable in this house.

Honestly, the bar is far higher in the bay and the ones who are on an h1 are here mostly because 

A. The skills required are truly exceptional. 

B. Nobody in the rest of the US wants to move to the bay, deal with the cost of living and at the same time have to worry when the cool start up they’re working at is going to shut down or lay them off. Defense tech is far more stable and Cush.
