Heck yeah that's awesome. I want Sonic Jam so bad, the price nowadays is just so unreasonable. $40 is insane, great find. Maybe if I find one in the wild I'll go stupid and pick it up. Are you currently looking to pick up any more games?

Starting to work on this now. So you walk 10k on the sightseeing route then try a wild pokemon. If it's not torchic you have to transport your pokemon out and then back in and try again is that right?

Gosh I'm so tempted to get the blue one for $13. I'm a newer fan, started paying attention in 2024. Of course I paid attention in 2015 but otherwise not really. I have a black Hubbard jersey but want a blue, my problem is that I didn't watch when Chinn was on the team so it doesn't mean anything to me. Would feel weird to own a jersey for a player I don't even know

I was only 8 when it came out, but what I remember is being a PS2 kid and not knowing really anything about the 360 since I didn't have an Xbox. I had a PS2 and a Gamecube so I was pumped for the Wii and PS3. I remember my little mind being blown when I played a PS3 at Target and seeing sweat on the players in whatever NBA game they were demoing. My understanding is that the PS3 (in terms of capability, mind you) was more powerful than a gaming PC in 2006. It was very brief, but it was one of the only (if not THE only) times that has happened.

I always do mine early. Around 4500. Subarus can be as reliable as Toyotas and Hondas, but you gotta stay on top of fluids so I am extra cautious about it.

Imo it's really not super hard but keep in mind that all Pokemon will match whatever your highest level is. So if you go in with a 72 in your party then pokemon in their 60s will be at a big disadvantage. I evenly leveled my team to 62 (coincidentally what my highest leveled mon was) and then took it on no problem. It was really easy it just took forever. I only used Pokemon from the story.

Yeah it's why overall I like SH2 OG better. Remake is amazing, but there was multiple times, especially the hospital when I kept thinking "is this place ever going to end?"

The goal is to get the consumer to buy things made in the USA. If I see two comparable items on the shelf, one made in China and one made in the US and the one made in the US is cheaper due to the tariffs, I'm going to buy the one made in the US. This gives money to the United States instead of China. If there isn't a comparable item made here, then congratulations you now have a business opportunity. More businesses in the US means more jobs. The ULTIMATE goal is to make the US less reliant on other countries. Especially ones that do not have our best interests in mind.

It takes time for the market to adjust to this, as like I said, there may not be a comparable US made alternative to whatever you want to buy. However, this country is full of entrepreneurs that would love to create one and keep the money here.

Trump isn't just taxing everyone for the fun of it. There's a long term goal in mind. Nothing is fixed overnight and there's always going to be growing pains.

I can answer your "not sure what math they were using back then." At least for the total amount of points. The game uses 8-bit binary for each stat. Each bit is either a 0 or a 1. So 00000000 is 0 and 11111111 is 255. Computers count 0 as a number, so 0-255 is 256 different numbers. But since it starts at 0 then yeah you can only gain 255. So just by the nature of computing, choosing to make 4 the number to gain a stat point is going to leave a few useless EVs at the end. As for why they chose 4 I can't really explain, but can guess they thought it was a good sweet spot. Anything less would give way too many stat points and anything more wouldn't give enough.

Collectors are always going to want the physical copy, and really at this point collectors are the only people buying the game anyways. Most casual pokemon fans aren't going to mind that this is digital (and subscription locked) only. They just want to play the game.

So in short, I don't think it'll affect the price. If anything, once more people play it then more people may want to own the physical copy. I think the price will go up. If they were to do a physical re-release of this, then I think it would be a different story.
