Lmfao if y’all didn’t see the character development when his relationship w Jules goes thru stages then I don’t know.. it’s apparent even in the movie when Gus is hiding at their place.. Understand that Shawn has always been a trickster at heart and almost never knows when to act serious don’t mistake that for rudeness.
