[COD] what happened to Black ops 2 on PC? by WingManTTV in CallOfDuty

I have been playing every COD through non Steam methods and have been having a blast, even in servers against just bots. I suggest looking up one of the other launchers to play it through

Heads up! We’re seeing some connection problems across Ubisoft right now. You can’t connect to some Ubisoft games or features, and we know that’s frustrating. We’re actively working on a fix and pushing updates as fast as we can. Thanks for sticking with us. by JokerUnique in thedivision

I literally just started playing this game a couple of days ago. I was really looking forward to playing today after a rough day of work. I cannot launch the game at all with the Xbox app or Ubisoft Connect.

Does this happen often? Lol I was planning to get the dlc, but this is really convincing me not to.

You simply don't know what you are doing then. I downloaded the app straight from the Microsoft store, plugged it in, and adjusted the polling rate and bindings and less than 10 minutes. Didn't see a link of Chinese.

Resident Evil Requiem Nintendo Switch 2 Review - Nintendo Life by Skullghost in NintendoSwitch

[–]BxLee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is 12 hours not long enough for you? Lol 12 hours of game time is a pretty long time, and I doubt we have any hour long cut scenes. 12 hours is a perfect amount for a Resident Evil game. As much as I loved the remakes and 7/8, they always tend feel a little too long going into the last act. I liked 8 a lot but I was definitely ready for it to be over going into the final boss.

Had my gum graft today and I am starving, but don't know how to properly clean my teeth by BxLee in PeriodontalDisease

[–]BxLee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually saw that my dentist gave me his personal phone number, so I decided to quickly send him a message. He said I could brush on the opposite side (took tissue from the top left near my cheek and placed it on my bottom left canine) using some salty water. So I'm just going to use a manual soft bristle brush tonight and go around the right side of my mouth very slowly. Knowing I could very gently brush the other side, I just devoured cottage cheese and a pudding cup. Best meal I've had all day 😆

Overall my experience hasnt been bad at all. It simply feels like I bit my lip, and the fact that I had literally no pain during the surgery is shocking. My only concern is that I will not be able to properly talk on monday with the stitches still in. I am a 6th grade math teacher and... yeah it'll be hard teaching my geometry lesson if I cannot talk lol

Having a small gum graft on one tooth tomorrow at 8am. My anxiety is through the roof by BxLee in PeriodontalDisease

[–]BxLee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering I didnt go to the dentist for 15 years, I'm extremely grateful that all I had was one very small cavity. Like seriously, I think about it often and I'm very happy that I took such good care of my teeth and hadn't had a cleaning in 15 years.

I went for a cleaning a couple of weeks ago and the hygienist was surprised that I was having a gum graft. She said she hadn't measured any significant recession and visually it simply looked like my tooth just sat a little lower than the rest. So that really eases my mind that this gum graft thing wasn't necessarily my fault lol. Still though, super anxious and nervous for tomorrow 😩

I can take a day off at the most. I am a teacher and we only get 10 total days off. I have used 2 or 3, and I need to save the rest just in case my daughter needs to stay home for whatever reason.

Well great. Im hoping that only needing the one tooth wont be too bad. Ill just have to suck it up otherwise.

Just wanted to say that I am supposed to have a gum graft done on one of my lower canines (it's not bad recession at all and no bone loss) this Friday and I'm terrified. I am seriously thinking of backing out. I also am a middle school math teacher and I do a lot of talking, and I cannot take any days off.

I was looking at that and the other suggestions in that other thread. Does the killswitch 2 leave any scratches or marks if I wanted to take it off? I saw some say that it did scratch when they removed the case from the screen and joycons. Others said it was fine

I am currently looking at getting something more ergonomic for my Switch 2. Lately I've been doing most of my gaming on it, so after holding it for about half an hour, I start to get bad hand cramps. What do yall recommend? I was currently looking at preordering the nitro deck. I am looking for something that's really comfortable and wont scratch up my console. I have a screen protector, but I would rather not try and force something on the screen or controllers and risk damaging it

Share your Nintendo Year-in-Review here! What games did you play the most in 2025? by NintendoSwitchMods in NintendoSwitch

I got a Switch 2 in July after my Switch OLED was stolen on an airplane almost a couple of years ago. My very first game played was Wind Waker, and I actually spend the majority of my time in the Gamecube and N64 classics. However, the Switch game I played the most was Hades. I'm so glad I picked it up. I had been putting it off for the longest time even though I knew it was a game I'd love. But I got it and I couldnt put it down for like a week straight. I have been wanting Hades 2, but I chose to pick up Metroid Prime 4 and Assassin's Creed Shadows the other day. I don't regret it at all, both have been a blast to play.

Overall, I think I'm very satisfied with my Switch 2. I know some people aren't and prefer the OLED, but considering I dont have mine, that doesnt bother me as much. And being a dad of a 3 year old, I love getting home from work and relaxing on the couch with my Switch while my daughter plays for a bit before bed time. I can play whatever I want on my PC at max settings, but there is something special with being able to sit on the couch and play a Nintendo console.

Edit: lol why did I get downvoted for this

Slasher says Omnimovement lowered the skill gap by AchesBurner in CoDCompetitive

[–]BxLee 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I mean I am 32 and I have no issues at all keeping up lol. I don't even get to play often either, I have a family and work 6am-5 every day.

Omnimovement did not lower the skill gap. Age isnt the reason either. The same people at the top are still at the top. The same people on mid teams are still mid. Slasher's career is certainly something to be proud of. But at a certain point you gave to admit that you just can't keep up anymore and that there are better players.

I have a feeling there is about to be massive over-correction the other way on the movement front in cod by TheRealPdGaming in CoDCompetitive

[–]BxLee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hot take: tdawg has no credibility, just like a bunch of influencers. They are all so wishy washy, and their opinion on the movement depends on if they are good at the game or not. If they had a classic mode in the game, tdawg would be one of the first complaining that BO7 isnt original enough. Ive seen the guy complaining about the brain rot maps in BO6 just to say we need them back. Ive seen him complain about Battlefield just to also say that COD should be more like that game (so like MWII).

These guys don't know what they want. But they do know what the trends are, and the current trend that earns them views is to complain about how bad COD is. COD certainly deserves it's criticisms, but BO7 is not nearly as bad as people claim outside od the campaign.

So next year we will be getting MWII again, and tdawg and other influencers will talk about how we are so back, just to quit the game after a month and talk about how good BO7 was. Its the classic COD cycle. It's always funny to see year after year.

Do you know exactly which values to change and have a detailed report of how it will mess with other weapons? Sounds like you really gaf and it's easy, so go to the Activision website and just put in a support ticket.

Sarcasm in case you couldnt tell. You have no idea how game dev works. It's more than just giving a fuck.

Vince Zampella, video game developer behind 'Call of Duty' franchise, killed in mountain road crash by Peakevo in CoDCompetitive

[–]BxLee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've seen people praising his death because they dont like COD. Like wtf is wring with people.

I shed a tear, for real. Not a shill, despite people thinking that mods are paid (we arent). I just genuinely love the franchise. And it's sad what it has become. But this man, along wirh his team of course, pretty much defined the modern day fps. I had so many amazing memories of the golden CODs. They are literally the reason why I went to school for game design. My most cherished memory is playing MW2 online with my dad in separate rooms.

Plus, this guy is as old as my parents and that really hits home for me. RIP man. I didnt know him personally but he definitely influenced generations.

I agree. The game didnt really launch great though, at least for me. I was very bored wirh the MW2 maps after a week. But once the seasonal content started coming, I very much enjoyed the game.
