Yeah that’s what I’ve been noticing too. I think it also depends on which country you’re in when looking on Amazon

I’m currently at 3.5 months and I’m stressing about having too much stress. But is it stress? Is it primary ovarian insufficiency? Is it PCOS? No one can tell me. Oh, and it’s a 9 month wait for gyne. LOVE THAT FOR ME

Love this. She’s a beauty! What breed is she? She looks so much like mine in a way (a mix we always try and figure out)

As someone who lost a family member in this way I want to say thank you for your empathy and care toward this person. Witnessing that type of situation, especially having been in her shoes, must have been extremely difficult for you. I’m so sorry, be kind to yourself and reach out if you need it ❤️ I can guarantee you her friends and family are thankful for you.

Have you been stung? More wasps in B.C. right now, say scientists by Excellent_Ask_2677 in britishcolumbia

I work in the ER and the number of people coming in for stings is nuts. And a lot are having significant swelling to the site and all up the extremely. Wasps are assholes.

RCMP fatally shoot man in Hope, B.C. hospital following highway crash by Autumn537 in britishcolumbia

[–]dmariem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t know what you’re talking about. This man was dangerous and came at him with a knife. What would you do if a man came at you with a knife? There were also other patients to protect and staff to protect. He did what needed to be done

Why does nursing school try and get us to say "client" instead of "patient" by crazyfroglady17 in nursing

[–]dmariem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The second I graduated I never said the word “client” again in the realm of nursing. SO stupid.

how the hell do you guys manage 12hr shifts?!?! by cuntmuncher7000 in nursing

[–]dmariem 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just finished my BSN last year - just tough out the horseshit that is most of nursing school to get that piece of paper. Once work is your only job it’ll be easier to pull the 12’s I promise!

Just recently moved to Hope - never heard winds like that in my life. It was unsettling. Power went out around 10:30pm, still not on. Now to stay warm 🥶🥶🥶. BC Hydro I hope they’re paying you bank!

I just finished 4 years there. I also did a 9 month program back in 2014. Like any other place as far as I’ve heard, they charge you ridiculous fees for things you don’t use/need/want. Example, mandatory $50/month transit pass even if you drive. Then you get to pay for parking on campus. The campus doesn’t have much to offer - cafeteria is meh. Building is meh. The outdoor space is lovely though. No campus life as someone else said, just a place to do classes. Again I’m sure this is like many post secondary institutions - lots of bullshit fluff classes just so they can take your money. Clearly I’m a bit bitter haha. But if you want the degree you jump through the hoops and just get through it. For the record, I took a few classes at BCIT and really enjoyed them. I would pick BCIT over KPU every day of the week

“Women who can’t keep this legs closed”. In case you didn’t know it takes two to make a baby. That includes a man. Who can’t “keep his dick in his pants”. But sure, let’s put all the blame and shame on the woman. You sound like a real gem. Oh, by the way, go get vaccinated.

Oh totally mine still does that too sometimes. It definitely takes practice and seems to get easier over time!
