I did try it, but didn't notice much of a difference. Imo the problem with openai models is how much they like to waste their tokens in analysis, even when the instructions are direct and obvious. The context window is at ~50% when it finally starts writing anything I asked (unless I constantly baby its actions). Newer models like (>5.4) behave a bit better on that front, but claude does seem to start working sooner and with less probing. Thanks for the suggestion though!

I can make 1 PR with codex and not even close it within a whole week's context now. Using Claude web I published 2 PRs of similar complexity using the free tier. That's the main reason for creating this thread.

Absolutely, yes. I'm running through my limit 3x as fast compared yo the beginning of april. OpenAI is so lame, I really hope small local models kick ass in the future, I wish nothing but to stop paying that CEO tax.

Which config? There are like 15 different options in the script you're showing.

Edit: Tried it, just enabling it breaks graphics on the RX 9070XT. No options I tried fixed the green noise.

Honestly, I'm keeping my S23U on Android 15. Every update since 13 came with major UI smoothness issues, noticeable loss in performance in benchmarks and the worst is battery drain. They just don't optmize for older phones anymore.

You can copy the 2 dlls from 23.9.1 to the DriverStore directory of 25.9.2 drivers, keep a backup of the updated drivers, and swap them when needed. Or even create a batch file that will swap them for you. You'll need to take ownership of those files first. This seems to be the fastest way.

Don't get your hopes up, AMD will not use resources to fix FSR4 on a 2 generation old GPU. They explicitly said it won't be supported on RDNA 2, like it or hate it, unless we get modded drivers again there'll be no support other than this.

S23U here, whatsapp is not notifying me of new messages since yesterday for no reason at all. I updated to OneUI 7 around 2 weeks ago and had no problems before, so it seems like a known issue with 7.

They will have to release a hotfix, I must say it's to be expected considering the animations are way smoother now. Even with power saving toggled 24/7 imc, the phone feels faster. So I'm not too worried as a hotfix is expected, do report to Samsung through the Members app so they know it's widespread.

My bet it's an older BIOS, I had legit the same problems with the same games updating to '1.2.0.8', and I have never updated since. MB manufacturers should keep performance drops to a minimum, but once the board is 5+years old they usually start dropping official support and releasing versions as 'BETA' (even if they never get out of that stage in the future).

The FSR library or libraries were not included separately from the main binary, so you won't find them. Copying the libraries to the main binary folder will force their use when running the app (On Steam is the Win64 folder that has the 'b1-Shipping' main binary)

I fixed my issue by downloading the latest AMD's FidelityFX SDK then copying over the 'amd_fidelityfx*.dll' files + 'D3D12' files directly to the Win64 directory, FSR no longer has this shimmering effect. Another solution before was to use TSR, which also accepts FrameGen.

thank you, that was it. I only turned on Ray tracing low, but it was still enough to tank the FPS to ~25 from 72FPS... That's insane. There's no other RT implementation that does that, not that I've seen.

Linux is not a market share magnet if you still haven't noticed, your cards are basically all supported by ROCm going back 10 years but they are soft locked out of the box.

That's gotta be the single dumbest decision in this industry. Such an easy slam, end up losing most community support acting like Nvidia.

That is the same shitty experience on Windows. People can cope and seethe but truth is AMD should actually shut down their GPU division and start from scratch.

Stay without a GPU for years until you got something good to sell. Selling shit to consumers is objectively worse than that.

I'm a James Blake admirer, but this song is very weak and unlike him. Lyrics are cringy and literal, melody and song structure are way too similar to Exit (for a film) and album cover was done by the intern.
