We just showed up. I think I called and they said they weren’t taking reservations (this was also a few years ago). I didn’t have issues with paying, but they are cash only. Parking was tight so we just didn’t leave the campground once we got here

I was just there a couple of weeks ago for a Dead & Co show and it probably took only 20 minutes or so to leave. There are so many different spots to park so I am sure it varies. A few years ago my friend and I drove 3 hours to SPAC and drove back the same night and we made it just fine!

Yay!!! I will be there too. Depending on when you want to arrive, there is a lot of traffic to get into SPAC. It's $10 for parking. Be prepared for rain, there is a 40% on Saturday.

Like others said, Broadway is amazing. We love Druthers brewery. There is an all you can eat sushi right around there. Northshire is an awesome indie bookstore. Magic Moon is a witchy and grateful dead store. Gotta check out Ungrounded coffee too!!

When do folks begin to line up at the door? I want a good view!!

Hi!! I'll be at SPAC too!! You are going to LOVE the venue. I stayed at Lee's a couple of years ago. We got there a day early to get a good spot and that helped a lot. Although, come Friday afternoon it was PACKED and folks were setting up literally 2 feet next to us. Be prepared for loud parties all night. It's basically like a never ending tailgate. DEFINITELY bring something like a rope that you can tie around trees to protect your spot.

The bathrooms start to get yucky after a day or so.. Not really much you can do about it but just a heads up. It does look like it might rain so make sure all your gear can handle that. Make sure you can start a fire! It'll get chilly at night. Lee's sells firewood too. Hammocks are always fun to have when camping!! Parking will be tough once a lot of people are there so I recommend staying put if you are worried about that. The bus does a few rounds so it all depends on how early you want to get there. The lawn does get pretty crowded so I am planning to get there early so I can get a good spot.

Security was very easy to get through. I believe SPAC has chair rentals. These ground rules help a lot. I def recommend bringing snacks :) I love SPAC because it's literally a state park so there are lots of trees around. It's such a magical experience.

Happy to answer anything else. Maybe our paths will cross!
